I know that folks here have a wide diversity of life experience, so I thought this would be a good place to ask.

I have been corralled into running a study group for a professional certification program. I have never done any teaching or leading of groups. We are supposed to meet for 2 1/2 hours after a full work day. This is not a class so I am not teaching the information. My concern is keeping people engaged, perhaps entertained.

Generally each person has to read a book before each meeting and then we would review the information. I am making arrangements for "experts" to come in to answer questions. I have access to quizzes and flash cards thru the professional organization. The group is really small, 8 maybe 10 people, some have been in the industry for over 15 years, others maybe 3-5 years.

Any suggestions for how to keep things diverse and fun?
