Comments (3)i'm currently having the same issue with a property i take care of. We had a pearl black finish put on and we have some big areas that like the finish hasn't come through. as soon as our pool was filled - the next day -- we had the pool company come out twice a day for a few weeks to keep checking the chemicals and brushing the pool. This was done and we still have these bad areas. I personally think when the initial acid wash was done they didn't let the acid sit on the walls long enough. I'm waiting to hear back how they are going to fix this. If this was what the final product was to look like, we should have been informed. If i get my house or car painted, i am expecting a uniform color throughout.........See MorePennsylvania Blue Stone Decking & Natural/Real Stone Veneers
Comments (10)quote" Why did the buyer bail on bluestone? "quote Because I'm a Wussy and let them change to Oklahoma multicolor. Most of my competitors won't let a buyer out of his choices. I have buyer compassion when it comes to changes. If I'm told before the work starts on tile and coping they can make a change without additional charges as long as the product is of equal or lesser value. At any given time I have lots of pallets of rocks behind the shop so I really don't lose any sleep over it. I'm not sure if it's select or full color, heck I couldn't even tell you if it's from Pennsylvania. I'll be going to the shop this afternoon and will take a digital camera to snap some shots of the pallets. See ya, Kelly...See MoreLooking for ideas for improving pool area and pool deck
Comments (3)I would remove any furniture that is between the house and pool. This just accentuates that the space is small. I would add 5 matching pots with plants in either black or turquoise in between each of the windows/doors. This will cause your eye to follow them around. Also add rugs outside the doors. For around the pool deck maybe add a 12" bed of tumbled rocks. Can you post a photo standing at the back door looking out? You want to draw your eye out so you might need to add something with height on the back side but I can't tell from these angles. If I was dreaming I'd build a bridge across part of the pool. I'll see if I can find some photos....See Moresbedelman
