If you donÂt mind me asking  why do you want to use Simply White on the trim and doors?

We have White Dove on our kitchen cabinets & throughout our home (trim, wainscotting, built ins). We get a lot of light, but it definitely reads clean & creamy, not muddy. Here is a pic of the cabinets & another of the island where you can see some trim & the built in with baskets, all White Dove. The last one is the mudroom, with no direct sunlight to give you an idea of the color away from windows....

Katie, thank you for your response. I've admired your kitchen many times here on these forums. You have put my fears to rest!!

I still have a few more questions though. Did you use White Dove on your ceilings too? Regarding your inset cabs, are they back beveled? What kind of lighting do you have? CFL,LED or Incandescent? We plan on using the warm LED recessed lights.

My cabinets are due in April 19th and they are a color that called Divinity from Mouser cabinets that matches up to White Dove.. I dont get a lot of light in my kitchen so I was concerned about that too, but now that I have my sample door sitting in my kitchen I can see that it was the right decision, any whiter would be too stark.

I'm feeling much better about going with white dove throughout. I'm fortunate that I ran across this forum. There is so much wonderful information here. So much more than I would ever get from my GC. You guys have been great to me. I am looking forward to being done with this house because of the crazy it has created in me. I try to keep reminding myself, it's just a house!

i'm using white dove on my kitchen cabs & trim and i'll also have warm LED recessed lights throughout the entire house...hope we like the light.

I have BM White Dove painted cabinets and went with all White Dove trim and interior doors in the immediate space. Absolutely love the way it makes the room flow. I think it would be strange looking in my kitchen to have brighter white trim and doors. However, my ceiling is a standard bright "ceiling white" which looks great to me (painter suggested the brighter white for the ceiling to keep it light and airy - my ceilings are only 8').

KatieOb, I love your kitchen as I have said many times before. It is so stylish, beautiful, bright, cheerful, and functional. I love the floors, the counters with the island having the lighter counters. I love the appliances, the style of the cabinets with the crown molding on top of the cabinets. That Dove White is a nice creamy color in your kitchen. I forgot what you used for the counters that look so great. I must do a search for your kitchen.

What was used on the hinge of the cabinet doors that look so perfect also with everything else in the kitchen?

Srg215, I take it you are building a home too. We took the white dove paint sample to the lighting store to see what the LED light would do to it. With one light to go by it wasn't a good example. I'm going on faith that all will be just fine. Let me know how you like your LED lighting.

My cabinet maker is a prankster! I went to pick up a sample piece of wood (4"x7") with a coat of the White Dove. He handed me a cream colored sample. I looked at it and then took it outside for better light. While I was still looking at the first piece, he hands the real one to my husband. The real one was so much brighter and absolutely perfect. He got me good!
The funny thing was, I went to his shop thinking I'm going to like this no matter what because I knew he already purchased the paint. I would have lived with that cream paint.

I've learned that your first choice is the best and don't second guess it!

three daisies or anyone else with white dove cabinets: what color paint did you use on your walls? we are currently having our cabinets installed (white dove) with a dark center island. the granite is princess white (white with gray/green swirls). not sure what color to paint the walls. going with white dove for doors/trim. thanks!

I am still undecided between BM White Dove and BM Cloud White. I love the BM Simply White with my new tiles but it is so white and I want my cabinets a little bit darker. I had planned on using BM Cloud White but it seems BM White Dove is a little darker so I may first try painting one door in this since the painted boards do not look like the painted chips. Anyone have pictures to post? Is there anyway to show a piece of white paper next to a BM White Dove or BM White Cloud door? I wanted to buy new cabinets but for now, I will paint mine after I do the floors and lighting and see if I like living with white so when I buy new cabinets in 2 years, I will know to go with white or a cherry stained door.
