River Rok colors

Complete newbie here. We are in the midst of building our pool, in the gunite stages now. Tile and coping are next so I still have time to change my mind on the color of River Rok. We chose Baja Sand. Which is dark and a bit grey. The only other color I really liked is Blue Opal. Does anyone have any photos of these shades!?! Thanks sooo much!

Well anyone with River Rok? Any comments on it? I could still change to Pebble Tec or Sheen? It's not much more. We chose the River Rok because of the smoothness and the warranty (the same as pebble tec)

Bump....we also need to decide between River Rok and Sunstone Pearl. We are looking for a richer, darker (but not too dark) blue color. With regard to River Rok, we found that the River Rok Lucayan Blue was a little too light blue for us and we are afraid that River Rok Opal Blue (which is a mixture of 8 to 2 Lucayan Blue to Emerald Black) is a little too black/dark. Anyone build any pools out there with a 9/1 mixture of Lucayan Blue and Emerald Black? Any other suggestions to achieve a rich, dark blue? We just do not want to put in River Rok and have the color come out like we just did plaster (ie, light blue). Any suggestions with regard to Sunstone Pearl? Any help would be appreciated as we have just a few days to make a decision and we have not been able to find many pools around here that was built using River Rok or Sunstone Pearl. Also any pictures would help! Thanks all!

We had the same experience - no pools in our area with River Rok, and limited online pics. I must've looked at the samples a million times. In the end, we went with Granite and love it. The color is beautiful - light/med blue with hints of green. And, it feels great on your feet - not rough at all. I think another member - sgregor - did Baja Sand, and she posted pics. Good Luck!

If you are going to bump and feature this "spectacular' home remodel with their pool and pics, would you kindly make sure it's in full working condition with the pics that were deleted years ago? I dragged my DH over to watch a slideshow of my potential dreams and it consisted of deleted old pictures from years ago that had nothing to do with the OP but with you gardenweb. Thanks for wasting my time and building up the excitement with my DH of yet another "oh so exciting" gardenweb flop....I should have known better.

Here is my pool, which is Baha Sand You will notice a few things. One, the color is different depending on the light (in fact, both these pictures show the water much greener then it is normally). The water color can be less green, but generally it is greener then we expected. Of course, a lot of how it turns out his how it is mixed (I don't think it is a straight color, so the apply can influence the color) and the surroundings (trees, etc).
