We bought the TWP 1500 cedar tone stain for our new deck. We waited 5 months before applying and after applying it is a peach-orange color. After reading another comment on here, I am guessing the yellowish tone to the pressure treated has changed the color?

So what I need to know is should I try to stain over to darken the color to a more brownish or will we have to strip it? I wanted to strip and redo all of our other older decks to match but I am guessing the older decks will not match in color due to age.

I really hate the deck color on the new deck with the TWP brand. I had thought we found the perfect product.
