dripping release valve at furnace

homebound

Yesterday, during ductwork installation, while "moving" some pipe out of the way, we developed a leak at one of the joints feeding the hot water radiators. So the system was drained and they repaired it. Took quite a while to get the air out and functioning again.

This morning, we had a steady dripping valve at the furnace. Not sure the name, but it's the levered valve for releasing water into a bucket or draining into a hose. I pulled it up once or twice, to see if I could get it to close fully.

That may have taken care of it (no drips ot speak of), but what are my options on this if it were to continue to drip? Get them back and drain system all over again, or could I install a second valve of some sort just below the first one?

Thanks.
