'Starter Cell' message? scrolling on Battery Charger
Comments (1)Probably some gook in another country didn't know what it meant, but put it in there anyway! As long as it charges the battery like it should--don't worry about it. If the battery started the car-you're home free, except for what the initial cost was!...See MoreElectrolux range F15 error
Comments (2)I don't have any first hand experience with Electrolux, so I can't tell you much, but here is what the service manual for that range says about that error code: "F15 Controller self check failed or terminal cutoff open. 1) An F15 error code on the oven controller may indicate the oven controller is not receiving a synchronization signal from the relay board. One easy way to determine this is to power off the unit, power it on and start a Timer for 1 minute before the F15 error code appears. If the timer counts-down normally then the synchronization signal is okay. If the timer stays at 1:00 and does not countdown, then the synchronization signal is missing. If the synchronization signal is missing, check first if the oven relay board is receiving 120VAC correctly (J4 pin 1 and 3). Then check the wiring between connector J2 on the relay board and connector P16 on the oven controller. If AC power and wiring looks good and the problem is still there, replace the relay board. If problem persists, replace the oven controller. 2) The F15 error code may be caused by an oven controller failure. If the synchronization signal has been verified and tested good, replace the oven controller." I take it you aren't able to even get to the screen where you enter in 1 minute? If that's the case I would be inclined to believe it's the oven controller, but I'd definitely test for the signal before you order anything. The manual does mention the thermal cutoff switch, but only in relation to the E15 error, not F15. If you're only getting F15 without E15, sounds like one of the 2 boards. Comments (18)Got the dreaded "No Power Cell 2" message (yes, it says "2" as well, vice NO Power Cell". Had Pinch a Penny check my under warranty T-CELL-15 - said it passed. Looked at several forums and found this one. Checked my fuses, appear ok - not broken/blown. Wish that was the case however. Notice Amazon sells a PCB board for 350 or so. Before ordering and doing this myself, I noticed a link for navyvet about the circular "fuse" for lack on a better term, specifically the Digi key pn# 570-1062-ND. Will need to take my board off to see if I can find burn marks, then try my hand at soldering (or call a friend). Anyone successful with the soldering, then have issues later on? Don't want to spend money on a new Circuit Board if I can prevent it, but don't really want to repeat the soldering work constantly. Any feedback is appreciated. I'm a newbie at the forum, so if the question has been asked, shoot me the link. Also, anyone else have issues going to www.nopowercell.com? sees down for me. Thank you for your time in advance fellow forum members and DIY repair techs....See MoreGoldline Chlorine generator / Jandy RS6 setup
Comments (0)I needed to clear my Jandy RS6 system memory a while back. Everything seems to be back to normal except my Goldline Turbo Cell T15 chlorine (salt system) generator. The Goldline control box has Power and Aqualink RS LEDs lit solid green, but it never shows "Generating". Also, none of my control panels (All Button, One Touch) show the salt level display any more either. The All Button used to show "Salt 3000" when the filter pump was running, but not now. It appears that the system doesn't really know that the salt cell is attached now. Does anyone know what settings got lost or how to fix this? Thanks, Bruce...See Moresteve_fl
