From the previews, looks like it might be a good night....I'm going to be out and will have to tape or watch it on the computer, darn........

There might be a merge, but I'm thinking not. The commercials are teasing that JT is going to give the II to Russell. If so, then I don't think they will merge tonight because I think JT would only give the II to Russell because he thinks the women are forming an all woman alliance and Russell is the odd man out on the other team if that were true. We'll see. It could be an exciting night.

Hang in there - the Pachy leaves are truly beautiful as they grow. I just kept my seedlings inside my sunroom this summer since nights are pretty cool in Colorado. Also got some H. fungii seeds started from Sue resulting in about 30 plants around the same time. Now I suspect a little interference from a different parent?? as they have a noticeable carnosa-look with some long vines. Can see the risk in growing from seed that the offspring may not grow true to the parent. But these H. pachyclada look pretty darn identical to H. pachyclada.

I can only recall one Survivor winner who actually managed to play the entire game without lying or backstabbing anyone. That was Ethan Zahn, in one of the earlier survivors. Unfortunately, since then, it seems they've become savy about someone slipping under the radar, and the completely honest contestants are usually voted out early, so it's almost impossible to play the game without lying to anyone. Poor Eric misplaced his trust when he forgot one of the golden rules, "Outwit."

Love Jeff for speaking his mind, and why shouldn't he, right? Love the blog and he was right on. I was sorry to see Jimmy go. He may not have been the strongest physically, but he was the strongest mentally and could have really boosted the team moral. Well, except for the two men who were jealous of him. Would have like to see JJ make it for another few weeks a least, but I think he did some damage by selling himself out the first day and then last night by calling himself the weakest. I'd never admit to that, even if I was. I think his admittance steered Tyron's vote the other way, and perhaps a few others. This Naoknka person is truly as ghetto as they come. She proved that last night. I think she lacks self esteem so she tries to off-guard that with her drama and ignorance. Not sure how she even made the cut. She's pathetic as a human being, IMO. I'm all for the older tribe but they really need to start working together, and frankly, with JJ gone, I think it'll fall apart worse than ever since the other 3 men will be battling over the "control/leadership" position now that JJ is gone.

I'm hoping there is a merge. I'm curious to see how Rupert and Russell interact. In a few challenges they seemed to be out for each others throat. I hope JT wises up quickly with Russell.

I'm with you matti5. Rupert may just be Russell's new challenge when the time comes.

I like Russell and think he's playing the game of Survivor like no other. Whether he wins or not, he's still my fav. In a game like this, you have to do what it takes to try to stay on top, and if it's working for him, more power to him.

Well, Russell's got to start taking out the girls on his tribe, so I'll bet that Courtney goes next. I miss Coach and Rob and Tyson. Randy, not so much. ;-o

I laughed and laughed and laughed. Not so much at tribal council...but during the show!

Even so, the one girl I reeeally can't stand is still there. Grrrrrr. (So as not be a spoiler, it's the one who read the note.)

Drat! I forgot about it.

I had been out taking care of some business, getting groceries, and taking the car to see about getting a scratch taken care of. I came home exhausted; after I ate a bite I went to sleep for about a half hour.
