Pottery Barn Slipcovers-what color?

I am getting new slipcovers for my Pottery Barn sofa and chair. I cannot decide on a color. Help me decide, what color would you get? I do prefer the brushed canvas fabric. The room the sofa will be in is completely neutral and I will need to buy curtains, rug, etc. after I decide on a slipcover color.

It's all depending on your decor style, your flooring (which cannot be easily changed), and your lifestyle (pets/children/etc.)

Do you have a pic of the room? or at least flooring color? that always help!

My friend has a PB sofa slip covered in "Natural" and it still looks great after 3 years. On the other hand, she has 2 PB wing backs slip covered in "denim blue" and now they look kinda bad being so faded from repeated washing:-)

Thanks Bellaflora. I was thinking of getting the Natural color because I figured the color would not change much with washings. The carpet in the room is very neutral. I have children but they are hardly ever in the room where the furniture will be so that won't be a problem.

Mitchell Gold makes great sectionals. In fact, I believe they manufacture the PB version, though you can find it for less if purchased directly from a Mitchell Gold store. (Go to www.mgandbw.com to find local stores.) Hope this helps.

What is the fabric? I had a sofa done in dacron velvet and it lasted forever....and I have a sofa now done in cotton velvet....and it does show the "sit spot"....but a brush with your hand and it's gone. I wouldn't consider viscose or rayon velvet. Linda C

I have the PB Basic Loveseat, loveseat sleeper and chair and ottoman - The furniture's great - but the covers have not worn well and I've only laundered them twice in the 4 years I've had them - I have the canvas because I thought they would do better-- but I have 2 children and I went with the stone color - my bad - I now want to change to a darker color - and it is A FORTUNE !!!! Almost cheaper to buy new furniture! I have been searching and searching for knock offs - I went on ebay but no luck - The search continues -- but be carfeul - go dark and strong if you have kids. ALso - if they are not being placed on a rug - but going on a wood floor - put grippers on the feet because they slide!!!

pattycakes- Thanks:) Love Tuesday and the random stuff I find there. Madame Alexander dolls, PlayKraft pirate ship, drapes, rugs, etc. Actually bought 100 percent silk drapes there that were a beautiful soft cream color and a 108" length lined with flannel. lolauren- Thanks for the heads up. I did not see the reviews. I am unfamiliar with PB site and wasn't aware of the link at the bottom. You were correct though, a couple people mention the Stone blue being off. I have a couple panels up to see how they look in my Living Room. I think I will try posting pics later so other individuals who might be interested can see an actual photo for future reference. I will say that once up, they do look a little more like the online pic (which is odd because even when I had them draped over a door to see color vertically as opposed to horizontally they still looked so much lighter than sample). However, one review for the Stone Blue actually echoed this sentiment.
