Quality kitchen faucets?? Who makes one?

I'm in the final throes of purchasing stuff for my kitchen remodel. The faucet is one of the final items. I'd like to put a Pur filter on the faucet, so that leaves out the pull down or out spray types. Any recommendations?

If you want Quality, I recommend Chicago Faucet. They have a very good residential product line. I've attached a link.

Those have to be the ugliest faucets I've ever seen in my life.

Try Blanco, they make quite a few gorgeous faucets to fit any decor.

Yes, it needs to be single hole. Not wanting to drill new holes in the granite, nor do I want to lock myself in to a relatively uncommon 2-hole design. And I've learned that the other half is more or less hard over on a top mounted control lever. She says that side mounted is harder to get to with dirty hands. So that will limit our options quite a bit.

We used Rohl’s Perrin & Rowe lineup in our bathroom reno and couldn’t be happier. Exposed thermostatic shower system, sink faucet and tub filler for claw foot tub and a whole host of accessories. The quality is tangible. We had a minor issue with the diverter valve in the shower (it worked, but it didn’t feel smooth) which Vintage Tub & Bath replaced, no questions asked. Fortunately it was an easy fix on the exposed shower (a few unions). And Rohl’s polished nickel finish is exquisite Now were doing our kitchen and another bathroom and we keep going back to Rohl. We’ve found few options which tickle our fancy and the ones we have, (Lefroy Brooks, Graff, etc.) we’re unsure of the quality. Being a car guy, I like car analogies: A Lexus LS460 is in the same class and possesses most of the same features as a Mercedes S550, BMW 7-Series or Audi A8, and may even give you less problems than the German marques, but a Lexus will never have that same “carved from billet” feel.

I had a 20 year old Blanco kitchen faucet fail. The company sent me replacements parts, and I still couldn’t get it to function properly. I was going to order a new faucet until I realized the one I had was nearly $800! I also noticed the company offered a lifetime guarantee, so I requested a replacement. I didn’t have the receipt any more so I sent a photo of my old faucet, and the company replaced it free of charge! I am a forever customer of Blanco because the faucet stands the test of time and the company stands by their product!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I happen to love my Chicago faucets, and you won't find a better-made fixture at any price.

Personally, while I love my Blanco sink, I think their faucets are all way too trendy or over-embellished looking. You couldn't give me one.

I used to think there were waaaay too many faucets on the market, but now that I'm shopping for one I am so glad we have choices! :)

Which Blanco do you have? I have the Elan II on my short list now, but have not seen it "in-person".

Our house came with Grohe fixtures but I've been slowly replacing them with good ol' American made stuff after I paid $25.00 to have an o-ring sent Fed-Ex from Germany. Exotic is great when you're talking cars but not plumbing.

The best I have found are made by Waterstone. They are made in the USA. They offer a lifetime warranty. Mine is amazing. Even the plumber said it was the finest faucet he has ever installed.
