Quality kitchen faucets?? Who makes one?

I'm in the final throes of purchasing stuff for my kitchen remodel. The faucet is one of the final items. I'd like to put a Pur filter on the faucet, so that leaves out the pull down or out spray types. Any recommendations?

If you want Quality, I recommend Chicago Faucet. They have a very good residential product line. I've attached a link.

Those have to be the ugliest faucets I've ever seen in my life.

Try Blanco, they make quite a few gorgeous faucets to fit any decor.

I had a 20 year old Blanco kitchen faucet fail. The company sent me replacements parts, and I still couldn’t get it to function properly. I was going to order a new faucet until I realized the one I had was nearly $800! I also noticed the company offered a lifetime guarantee, so I requested a replacement. I didn’t have the receipt any more so I sent a photo of my old faucet, and the company replaced it free of charge! I am a forever customer of Blanco because the faucet stands the test of time and the company stands by their product!

Who makes a quality, small (4-person), kitchen table?

It sounds as though you're seeking a dinette table, rather than a diningroom table. If space is an issue, there are wood, drop leaf models available. A glass topped table will make a smaller space appear more open. Round tables usually seat more persons than do rectangular tables. There are companies that specialize in dinette sized tables. Start your search there. If all else fails, you may be fortunate enough to locate Amish craftsmen in your region who can customize a table to your specificatiins. There are a number of fine Amish woodcrafters in Holmes County, Ohio.

I simply cannot believe this: I went on to craiglist last night and the guy who sold me the $75 Sherrill wingback posted a matching one he is selling for $95 because according to him it is even better condition! He wanted to call me directly to see if I wanted it but lost my phone number. Love that I saw his post and now will have two great chairs for a steal! I still may get a reclining wing back for a different room. I got this email last night from the guide who runs the Insider's Guide to Furniture site. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I happen to love my Chicago faucets, and you won't find a better-made fixture at any price.

Personally, while I love my Blanco sink, I think their faucets are all way too trendy or over-embellished looking. You couldn't give me one.

I used to think there were waaaay too many faucets on the market, but now that I'm shopping for one I am so glad we have choices! :)

Which Blanco do you have? I have the Elan II on my short list now, but have not seen it "in-person".

Our house came with Grohe fixtures but I've been slowly replacing them with good ol' American made stuff after I paid $25.00 to have an o-ring sent Fed-Ex from Germany. Exotic is great when you're talking cars but not plumbing.

The best I have found are made by Waterstone. They are made in the USA. They offer a lifetime warranty. Mine is amazing. Even the plumber said it was the finest faucet he has ever installed.
