I love Clarks too.....from way (way!) back in the Desert Boots days.

I see the privo shoe by Clarks that I paid about 60.00 for (on sale) for 39.99. Hate that! But if you want great prices on shoes and boots check out 6pm.com. Both DH and I buy shoes and boots from them, some drastically reduced. He is really into Keen's, which are pricey. Has recently gotten some great deals. I just bought a 350.00 pair of Frye boots for 98.00 just today. These are on the clearance part of the website.

I did! I found several pair of summer shoes that interested me, but they weren't available in my size. Size 9 must be popular. I'm sure I'll revisit the site.

Last week a friend told me about a sale that Sierra Trading Post was offering. It was the last day to get free shipping on orders over $100 and an extra 20% certain sale items. She had a bunch of stuff lined up to order, and wanted to know if I had anything to add to it. I'd been wanting to try Acorn shoes, and found a pair of sneakers I liked. They're called Earthroamers, I think. Originally $88, and with all the discounts I ended up paying $26. I just got them, and they're very comfy!

Hubby ordered a bunch of stuff from them, too. He got some really good deals. He got in on that sale, too. Their shipping was really fast, too. I want to say something like 2 days? Now is the time to order winter boots and such, if you have room to store them. Some incredible deals. The thing I like about 6PM is you can get the current season's stuff for really good deals. I have bought Born and Clarks sandals for the summer, during the spring, for really good prices, way better than at the department store.

I just ordered ballet crocs! For the price, why not try them? My SIL loves them for when she travels.

Okay, I just ordered a pair of Tretorn Rain Boots. Free shipping, and the price is probably lower than Walmart charges for whatever rain boots they sell. Thanks again, Sleeperblues!

PS: My son stopped in while I was ordering. I'm not sure what he intended to do while he was here, but when I told him about 6pm.com and he looked at my monitor and saw the price of the boots and the free shipping, he turned around and left. He said he was going to go check out the site. LOL

I went and looked in my closet at the shoes and told myself that really, Susan, you don't need another pair of Clarks. So I didn't order. But I might just take a tiny peek at the Earthroamers. Sale is probably over, but it's good to know about comfy shoes.

Last night my DS ordered a pair of Doc Martin boots and my DIL ordered a pair of sneakers. Good deals!
