Would someone like to help?

There are so many recipes at the KTGP, its hard to find the ones your looking for.

Would anyone like to try and make a list of them all so we know what's there and have a easier way to find them?

Maybe you can take a few catagories on the list and just list them by the numbers. Or by the poster, your choice.

Would this be of any help to all of you? If not we will leave it as is.

just a though....... A KT recipe book would be great if someone knows how to do it.

Just some suggestions: I will post two lists I have developed and used, and then maybe and yes this will take time, after the recipes are categorized, thin them out. Remove some that are very similar to others, not just post every recipe, if they are home made, check to see if the person sending them has actually made the recipe, not just copied it from a relative/friend. If not, remove it, if it commercial, quote the source etc. Yes, this will take time but can be done.
Here are the two list I have used, and I made up.
Appetizers: BBQ: Beverages: Breads: Cakes: Candies: Casseroles: Cookies: Crock pot: Desserts: Fish: Fruits: Frozen: Meats:Pasta: Pies: Poultry: Salads: Soups: Vegetables.
2nd List
Canning-Freezing: Menus: Entertaining:Cooking glossary: Ingredients Identification: Substitutions: Microwave:
Breads:(rolls, muffins, pancakes, waffles: Sauces & Dressings: Salads: Meat (beef, lamb,pork): Desserts (cookies, candies, cakes, Pies); Vegetables: Pasta (grains, beans): Frozen Desserts, meats, vegetables: Fish (Seafood): Casseroles & Main Dishes: Beverages: Poultry: Pies (not desserts, but with meats & vegetables: Appetizers, Dips, Sand witches: Cakes: Bar B Que: Fruits: Eggs: Cheese:

Maybe we could each take a specific group and work on it, refining, etc work on line with each other, then send it to you for you to review. Again, we need to clean up this listing.

Thank you marie-ndcal. I think the first list would be better and easier. Do I have any volunteers to help sort out the recipes? Or should we just leave it as is?

mymimi43- the onion babies haven't dropped off yet, but they should very soon...but there are a bunch of babies on the bottom on the onions that I can't see...I'll check later on today to see if they're ready...I do have a medium-small pregnant onion I would probably be willing to part with for a trade..it has two babies on it right now...how about you e-mail me and I could end you pictures of it and the Louise plants...but I wouldn't be able to send them for atleast a week or so because I have Pneumonia right now...I can barely move, so if I don't answer right away, don't think I've forgotten..I'll take a look at your trade list and see what I might want... A couple of good, quick sites I use for help with verifying taxonomy: GRIN Taxonomy for Plants Tropicos (from the Missouri Botanical Garden) IPNI - International Plant Names Index Sometimes I'll consult other references, but those are the top three I go to. If native American violets are also being considered, then the USDA Plants Database is helpful, too. If it's a professional go to their Projects Tab and on the bottom right a pop up will appear if you want to send the professional a message. They will receive the notice. Clients and others have sent us messages that way.

Since I am not the greatest cook in the world, my selections would be interesting. I could try maybe some of them, but I have a tight schedule thru June so it might take some time. I might take a few and see what happens, and let you know.
