Well, I currently have two cats and one dog sleeping on the same couch. We don't allow them on the furniture. Buuut, I leave them there when my boyfriend isn't home (Shhh!). It's a lot easier to put up with than my beagle pacing, and the cats fighting when the baby is sleeping.

My beagle has learned a new trick. She and the baby are partners in crime now if I forget to put her in another room at lunch/snack time.

She's learned to lay under the highchair, and he's learned she'll eat whatever he doesn't, if he throws it on the floor. This morning I gave the little one some banana in his highchair, and forgot to close the baby gate to the living room.

Went to grab my laundry upstairs to put in the washer and he was already screaming for more. So I gave him some more, and he immediately tossed it at the dog and squealed with delight as she ate it.

Now I have to be really careful. It's fun, they leave no evidence, and she'll eat anything.

Got home last night and Tatyana had removed 50% of the potting soil from one of my large houseplants. There was dirt spread all over the living room floor. At least she didn't pee or poop in the house this time...

Counter surfing habit seems to have resurfaced.

On a positive note the Kleenex Box Bandit seems to have lost interest.

My 1 little girl, Kaley, loves to re arrange my sock drawer...She will sit and paw at the drawer until she has it open enough to pull it the whole way and then she very nicely takes all the socks out and lays them on the floor...She then crawls in and has herself a nice long nap...Either the drawer or she loves to lay on top of the car...After DH washes it, he has to make sure it's covered because sure enough, our fat cat, Kaley will have paw prints all over it...The other 3 cats don't seem to have any unusual habits.....

GREAT pics and stories! I love that the baby is in cahoots with the dog. And, all that yarn - what kitty could resist?

My cat actually doesnt get into much trouble.Although he certainly did when he was a kitten!

One time I had this vase with all these marbles in it on a table.I left and had to run back in for a moment,I guess I scared him~ He ran across the table and broke the vase and marbles went flying EVERYWHERE.

Another time,my husband and I were lounging in bed on a Sunday morning.Our cat decided to jump off the window sill,but went through the blinds string and got caught.
The blinds went all the way up,while he was hanging from his bottom helpless in the rope.It was the funniest thing...he just meowed helplessly until we helped him out.

He also used to bap all the balls off the Christmas tree.
By the end of Christmas,the tree was bare and all the balls broken :)

I also found her walking around on the dining room table several times, not something she normally does. I finally figured out that I had a ziplock bag of treats in a box on the table, and she could smell them.

Ariel and Macy have been driving me crazy. Their energy astounds me. They are sisters and a tag team of trouble. They chewed the antenna on my alarm clock so I don't get radio stations anymore. Now I have to wake up to cathedral bells! They incessantly play in the mesh clothes hamper. Always in the kitchen counters and in the kitchen sink. All I have to do is reach for the spray bottle and they stop, but who know what they do when I'm not home. They've chewed all my blinds up AND eaten my venus fly trap that I'd managed to keep alive for a year now before they came along. I try to get mad at them and they lick me and purr and I just can't stay angry! At least they are doing their business in the box!

Jasper is an angel as always... except for HEAD BUTTING the bedroom door when I try to close them all out so I can get some peaceful sleep.

I'm trying to get a picture of them all sleeping together in my bed, but as soon as I go for the camera they get up! Every time!

I turned around from posting this and found the tag team of trouble asleep on the bed. They must be tuckered out from a day of mischief making! I should have gotten suspicious the instant things got quiet!

Ariel on the left, Macy on the right. My friend's niece chose Ariel, which is fine. I wanted an A name for her anyway and couldn't think of anything. My new boyfriend chose Macy for other one and it seems to fit :o)

Cute pictures. My 16 month old Henry tries to bury his food. I have never had a cat like that in my life. They have 6 bowls of different dry food , three on the floor and three small ones on the island. Henry goes to the island ones sniffs each and if there is any sort of paper laying near by will cover any dish he doesn't like with it. One day I came out and every single dish was covered with paper and the other cats were confused. But he always eats everything anyway. I rescued him and his brother at 4 weeks and they both did that as very young kittens. From the first day I got them home and fed them, when they didn't like something they'd both turn their back and start digging..Sometimes it's funny, sometimes not.

Here is one more I found of him doing something he's not supposed to do.
Look carefully...he is laying on all my clean towels in the hallway closet,LOL.

Plasticgarden, that SO reminds me of our old cat Nick who used to sleep in laundry baskets with freshly folded clean clothes.

What cute pictures. I have a tag team of six cats and two dogs so there is something going on all the time. I am not counting Ralph, a horse and five goats, and seven chickens. I save them for the Farm Foreum.
Bobby I bleach my counters every time I cook, I don't see them there but there is that thump when I come in the door. LOL

Casey is climbing up the back of the love seat, pulling things off the counter, and walking across the counter to get to the garbage can. I keep it on top of the counter to get it out of his reach. He stole my sesame cookies two days ago. They were next to my chair. I went to do something and came back to him eating one. I pried it out of his mouth and gave it to his sister and brother to finish, giving him a bite of one late when I ate one. Did I learn to put them up? NO! I came back from another errand and found he had eaten all but two. My bad.

Toby is eating poop again. He seems to do it every year when it gets cold. Back to the yucky powder in their food now....

Miss Bina is peeing and occasionally pooping in the house. It is hectic here taking care of my blind 91 year-old father in law, and she does not like going outside and will never ask. You have to anticipate that she will need to go out, then convince her it is a good idea. She was getting pets the other day from me and her oldest bother trotted over for a pet. She actually took my forearm in her mouth! She did not want me to stop petting her in order to pet Toby. This is the same girl who was too shy to let me pet her six months ago. She still does not want you to look at her if a guest is in the house. She runs and hides if you look at her or talk about her. You should see her prance when you make her dinner, though!

Now, honestly, is there any better way to wake up in the morning than with a good attack on your toes? At 4 a.m.? I can't think of one if there is! After the loss of Motley this past summer, and having lived with a mature cat for many years, I wasn't sure I had the patience to survive Indy's kitten stages. But, it's priceless and I wouldn't be missing this for the world. She's fun, she's a stinker, she's into absolutely everything and she's beautiful. What more could you ask for?

What HAVEN'T they been up to? LOL.

Xena likes to steal. About three times a day I have to find and return the christmas-tree shaped plant pick that she steals from a mini-rose on the kitchen table. I tried taking it out and putting it away, but in a fit of pique she started to eat the blooms! Back the pick went, back to stealing went Xena, and no more flowers became mutilated. So far this system is working for us.

Jasmine is being quite the sucky baby. If my posture even suggests the existance of a lap, she is on it. I leaned against a low box the other day while taking a phone call and she scrambled right up like I was sitting in an armchair or something. Then she proceeded to look perturbed because there really wasn't enough lap there to lay across and she was clutching with all her worth and STILL sliding down my legs. She has perfected the art of "log rolling" - as I turn over at night, she skillfully balances and walks as I turn, then settles onto whatever side ends up at the top when I am done. I suppose I wouldn't mind all the warm snuggly attention. But she drools. Ew! LOL

Ruby? What can I say about Ruby. Today I wore make-up because we were going to a local pizza joint to celebrate DD's birthday with family. I had a few moments before it was time to leave so I snuck in a few moments of reading. She trampled over to me across the back of the couch, placed her paw on my head to steady it, and proceeded to sniff all over my face. First she inspected the eye shadow. Then she sniffed each individual eye lash, running her flat nose along the length of each one. She checked out the blush on both cheeks. But the best snurffle was reserved for last! My lipstick. Burts Bees, and it has a bit of mint in it. She sniffed and snotted and sniffed some more. Then she delicately gagged in my face (she does not like the smell of mint at all LOL). No wonder I don't "make myself up" very often!

NOTHING!! I have 10 & 13 year old cats and a 10 year old dog. All they do is sleep and cuddle. :-)

Dobesrule, your dog is gorgeous. I fostered 2 white GSD puppies last year. They were a handful.

Plasticgarden, please be careful with the string for the blinds. A poster on another forum I visit told us about her cat who got caught in the string while jumping on the window and accidently hung himself that way.

No need to worry Katsmah. After that happend my hubby adjusted the blinds string (he cut the loop and tied them into two small pieces the way they tell you to do for child safety) That was when he was a kitten,he is now almost seven and it has never happend again :)

We are having a problem with a opossum. It must travel my fence at night or just sit there. The dogs are going insane trying to get it. I am going insane trying to get them back in the house.

I'm not sure handful is quite descriptive enough for her. Heathen is probably more like it :) But she's just a baby, nine months old.

Cute pictures everyone. What has Sadie(chocolate) and Sophie(black) not been up lately. Actually Sophie lets Sadie get in all the trouble. Sadie's favorite thing is to steal our dinner napkins from our laps during meals. Thank goodness they are cloth napkins or there would be shredded paper everywhere. She should have fun on Thanksgiving as there will be 20 here to steal from.

They just spend hours running around chasing each other. Then they collapse on on of their pillows.
