Boy, I am really late. I just got my laptop back today. The 3rd would have been my DH's 81st. So was a bit sad for me. But......I hope you had a really really good day. Kathy

Thanks, all! I apologize for not seeing this. The day before my birthday I found out that my job was being eliminated, so that was a LOT of stress. Fortunately, within a week I found another job inside my company, which I start on the 16th, so I don't even have any layoff time. Because my car was getting older (14 years) and I was getting seriously concerned about its reliability, I decided that now was the time to get a new one. This past weekend I laid out for a 2006 Subaru Outback limited, fully loaded, with leather interior. For a 5 year old car it's amazing just how clean it is. It was very well taken care of. I hate the thought of having a car payment again after so many years, but I need reliable transportation. I guess that was my birthday present to myself! Again, thanks everyone!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! This is the 5-0 birthday for me and it's just hard for me to believe it! After yesterday though, I'm FEELING it! LOL The house my boys lived in when they were in college is going on the market today so I was over there painting the kitchen cabinets and staging the bathrooms (cleaned them spic-n-span first). Oh my, I have soreness in places I didn't even know I had places! It probably didn't help that I came home and practically guzzled a bottle of wine while in the hot tub! So I guess 49 went out with a bang and 50 is coming in with a whimper. :-)

Hello and Happy Birthday Susan.

I hope you fill your day with family, friends and pleasant activities- and that includes a glass or two of a good wine - and not the kind that comes in a bag.

Have a absolutely marvelous birthday.

Such nice messages from all you nice people! Thank you, everyone. I celebrated last evening with my family, and little Camron (5 months) woke up with a fever this morning. Now I'm going to bed with a sore throat, hoping for a complete recovery by morning. (Good luck with that, I know. LOL)

Thanks again!

Susan
