We have been feeding pounce treats to the cat.

But due to the fact that I have been researching the yucking things they throw into pet food, I have found this to be a horrible treat.

For instance animal digest is an ingredient

here are a few definitions of animal digest I have found

Animal Digest. Means manure. Someone has collected the manure from another animal and put it in the pet food your are feeding your pet.

If you see animal digest listed on a bag of dog food it's coming from the waste products of the slaughterhouse industry.

what ever the source, it does not sound yummy to me!

Anyone have ideas on a wholesome snack for kitty?

Not sure what to give the dog either, I was thinking dehydrated tripe if I can find a source, ideas?
