N.Y. Housewives on tonight......

From the clips I've seen, Bethany and Kelly have another 'conversation' I was turned off last week when Jill bought herself a $16,000. dollar handbag for herself for her B'day. Of all of the "Housewife" shows. I do like the N.Y ones the best. Then the CA. gals. I didn't like the Atlanta ones at all and the coming New Jersey ones look just as unclassy as the Ga gals. Oh why, oh why do I watch these shows???? LOL Dottie

I'm right there with you Dottie. I watch them all and then wonder why.
Some are just on these shows for the air time. Kelly for instance-what a nut job, no class having, wanna be.
I like the Orange County ones the best and they have their moments.
I couldn't get into the Atlanta ones at all. It seemed like to me that all they talked about was how much money they have and status. We already know they are rich and have no class. End of show for me.
$16,000 on a purse, and not a very cute purse. Heck for that kind of money I could have bought a new car and went on a cruise. Made me a little sick, but I do like Jill.

I'm with you two, I watch them all. Not sure why I can't turn away, but it does reinforce just how much I love my simple life.

It sickens me to see how much they spend. Jill not only got the purse, but also the new Merceds SUV. I think the best part of last week's episode was when "little Countess" came home from boarding school and told her mother she went shopping "at a place called the Goodwill". Notice how the countess then took her out and spent a ton of money on new clothes for her?

Bethany was on the Bonnie Hunt show last week via Skype and said tonight's episode will be a continuation of the Kelly vs Bethany.

I wonder if Kelly's boyfriend in show is the same that she allegedly beat up last month.

Hi Kids, I watched on Tuesday night and thought it was a good ending to the season. I guess I'm the only one here who is not grossed out by Simon. I don't mind him and I thought his outfit was very interesting. He looked like he was wearing an outfit that John Lennon or Ringo Starr wore back in the late 60s, early 70s. No big deal to me. I see both Simon and Alex as being very different and, that's OK. They add to the diversity. I thought the charity event was interesting, loud and a bit more raucous than I would have expected. I guess if you pay that much to attend a party, you feel you can act anyway you want. The fight between Jill and Bethenny was interesting. I thought Bethenny was way wrong, trying to discuss the signage issue in the middle of the event. Surley she could see that Jill was nervous and off the wall already...not at all the right time. But, Jill stood her ground and in the end, Bethenny backed down. What is it with Bethenny? I like her, but that was the 3rd major confrontation she has been involved in this season. I guess she likes being in the middle of drama. She also has very thin skin. The 'conversation' between Kelly & Bethenny was also interesting. I think they were talking about two different issues. Kelly was talking about the 'Madonna' comment at the charity meeting and Bethenny was talking about the first confrontation at the Bar. Until they single out the issues and discuss them one at a time, they will never get together. I don't mind Kelly. I felt she was a bit out of context for most of this season, but I don't dislike her. Ramona is still a idiot. I look forward to the reunion next week. It will be interesting to get the updates...Alex lost her job, The Countess is now in the middle of a divorce and Bethennys book is on the New York Times Best Sellers list. Oh...and Kelly was arrested for assault. What else will we learn? sooey

I think I should get my head examined for watching these stupid shows. But hey, who doesn't like a good train wreck now and then, metaphorically speaking of course. I would love to see Daneille and Kelly have their own show. There must be one of the OC gals that could go nuts with them. Oh no, don't give them any ideas. Really D & K are really too unbalanced and need some serious mental health care, it is really sad and disgusting how these shows are making a profit on these unbalanced people. I wouldn't be surprised if something serious happens to them.I would hope whoever is in charge of these shows offers free mental health care.

Holy Crap! Wow, I almost could not watch this finale. What a bunch of crazy women/people. I watched it on Tuesday night and I watched the 'Directors Cut' last night. It was so awful, I watched it twice...Holy Crap. I feel sorry for Danielle. I don't care much for her, but I still feel sorry for her. As soon as she took that book out from under the table I knew, she is one crazy witch. Who does that? Why, after being invited to a nice dinner party, would you pull a stunt like that? Crazy is the only answere. But, once the book was on the table, how ever it got there, she stood her ground. Crazy ground, but she sat and gave as good as she got. Caroline needs to step off and let her little sister fight her own battles. Dina was acting guilty from the beginning. She was as nervous as a cat and as hyper as she could be. First she was in her seat, then she was sitting behind Teresa, then she was standing behind her sister, then she was walking for the door, then back in her seat. She was all over the place. She really needs to grow up and stop being the baby of that family. Jacqulin and Chris were the only ones who came off looking good. I was glad to see Jacqulin stick to her guns and tell the truth. She pulled the rug out from under Dina and Caroline. And good for Chris for sticking up for his wife in a reasonalbe and adult voice. And Teresa...did she go just a little NUTS or what? Did you watch her? Did you see her flip out? It was like throwing a switch...BOOM! And she kept going and going and going. It was like she was having an out of body experience. Nutzo! Bravo has been teasing us with that clip since before this season began and it was worth it. I am looking forward to the reunion...big time. Sooey

Hi Kids,

Yes, tonight is RHNYC night. I have watched the Housewife showes since RHOC started several years ago. RHNYC are now my favs.

I was so turned off by the OC women this past season that I am sure I will never watch them again. The Poor, embaressing behavior they displayed this season was enough for me. No kindness or class to be had in that group.

For me, the NYC Women are much more real. As a group, they are more diverse and have a greater range of interests. Jill is over the top with her spending, the Countess is way over the top with her title and RAMONA...still a nut job, with her husband Mario, not far behind. Bethenny is ok but is so involved with what I will call her inner Bethenny, that she really does not have room for much else. I like and enjoy her wit but also find her to be a real piece of work. Kelly is smart, I guess she is beautiful, has money but at times she seems to miss the forrest for the trees. And what's up with her being late for EVERYTHING! She went to Columbia so she has game, but so often she can't find all the pieces to the puzzel. I am surprised as the rest of you to see that Alex & Simon are the normal ones. Who ever would have guessed?

So yes, I will be watching tonight. It looks like we will see more of the Bethenny/Kelly issue. I thought their last confrontation made for some great Bravo T.V.. It seemed real and was interesting to watch.

I admit to having watched them all - and enjoyed watching. I like this season's NY better than it's 1st season - which I thought was kind of boring in comparison to OC.
Vickie from the OC sure seems to have gotten a little too full of herself for my taste. The horrid things that she and Tamara say and do to the 2 newer girls really grate on my nerves.
I'm eagerly awaiting the New Jersey Housewives. Should be interesting.

I dont consider any of these women 'classy'. I watch the shows because i think they are funny. I've only seen previews od the NJ Housewifes but they may prove to be the funniest of the lot.Are they ever going to mention the countessas divorce?
