I baked my daughter's birthday cake: but it is stuck in the pan. (it's a fancy fluted deep pan, that when all goes well: makes a pretty cake that does not need frosting. Except that is not what happens, at least not to me. ). It is Teflon inside. I sprayed it with Pam. I let it cool about 15 minutes.
This is my fourth time using the pan, and only once have I been able to get the cake out without it falling apart or staying stuck. I should not have suggested a bundt. She wanted a cake with no frosting. I forgot that this was the style of pan I had, until I dug it out. I kept visualizing my Mom's regular style bundt, which never gave any trouble. There is a good reason why I have not used this pan much.
When it didn't come out, I worked down the grooves with a popsicle stick. It seems to be the top that is stuck: where I can't reach.
It is probably too late for this cake: I will probably have to cut it out. :(
