I know these posts are quite old but if anyone is thinking that you are getting great quality from Century Furniture when it comes to upholstered furniture, think again, maybe my review will help you to make a right decision. I purchased their leather sofa and fabric chase. The leather sofa cushions are falling apart, the sofa is only 2 years old I care for it fallowing the company recommendation and look it at the picture!!! As I purchased the sofa at Kroungold's furniture store in Marlton NJ as a floor model and I was told that this company has a life time warranty on all their products (here I have to admit, I should have check the warranty rules on Century Furniture company website, well I did not, now I know better, don't trust sells people). Just so you know if you ever buy a store floor model your warranty is void, in my case it really didn't matter because the couch start falling apart after a year or so, the leather quality I should say is questionable. Well before I have notice that the quality was horrible I purchased a chase (expensive must be good, right, the style matched my couch, great!). Before the year was up the seams of my cushion start falling apart in multiple places. I o rder this time a brand new piece of furniture from Delaware store, great price, no tax and very nice people compare to Marlton NJ store and warranty was good too. I had to fight to get a new fabric cover for my cushion, not to mention the cushion is sinking and I rotate the cushion all the time!!! I was even told that they are not going to replace the fabric and I have to find someone to fix it and if the price is right they will give me money back. Keep in mind we are talking about furniture that is on warranty!!! I have to say I kept pushing on the girl at that Delaware store, I even send her the copy of the warranty from Century Furniture Company. I got the replacement but they cut the corners by cutting the fabric in wrong place so you can see the seam on my cushion.

Y'all, I'm looking now at the Lee sofa on which I spent more than $5,000 6 or 7 years ago for the higher quality level, only to watch the cushions become WEIRDLY misshapen within 18 months: "pitching forward" (a good term for something I hadn't known could happen before seeing it here), sinking in the middle, the back cushions developing permanent horizontal folds that couldn't be returned to its intended shape, and slanting to one side in a way that wouldn't fluff back to its original shape. The seat straps collapsed in less than 3 years, and I used the throw cushions under the main seat cushions to bring it back to height somewhat. TOTAL CRAP! What's left of it is still here, due to a combination of pandemic issues (including my getting long covid) and the difficulty of finding smaller-sized quality furniture in the configuration I want. Wish I'd stuck with the beautiful Calico Corners sofa that the Lee replaced only because a new room configuration required an L-shaped sectional for TV viewing. During the pandemic, a new Calico sectional -- a small one -- was going to cost in the upper $7,000s - low $8,000s, and I was already out the $5,000-something for the Lee, so... After re-reading this thread, I'll look into the Quatrine, Massoud, and Arhaus. But ple-e-ease SAVE YOURSELVES from the Lee Industries experience!

Thanks for the replies. I wonder if other people have problems similar to mine with their new sofas? To answer some of your questions: The sofa is only two weeks old, and the cushion I've been sitting on is showing a little more compression and the fabric doesn't look quite tight against the top of the cushion...all of this makes the cushion not look so new. Besides looks, comfort is important, and the cushion doesn't offer enough support. Gosh, two weeks is such a short time for a cushion to show this type of compression. My seat cushions are definitely spring-down and I'm 99% sure that the cushions on the model in the store are spring-down because that model comes standard with SD, but I can ask that the repair man bring one of the cushions from the showroom model for comparison, as I'm not sure if I will be able to make the drive back to that showroom. I'd like to go back to the store to figure out why their sofa fits me, but mine seems too deep. Maybe they had the back cushions at an angle when I sat in it. It's a Stickley sofa, and I believe Stickly stands by their products, so I'm hoping the issue can be resolved to my satisfaction. The other problem with the sofa is that some of the 8-way hand-tied springs in the sofa make noises...I don't know how this can be fixed. Thanks again.

Theirs not going to be very much of a difference as far as construction , the design center will offer wider selection of fabrics.
