I'm sorry I don't have any great paint suggestions, but had to tell rtwilliams that her remodel is really beautiful and the wall colors look great with that white trim. What's the paint color used in the bedroom pictured above? Really like it!

Will you guys please tell me what you think if I put drapes up to the ceiling - it's 150" so I will have to have them made. And if I do that, what would I put on the wall between the drapery rod and the door?

Sorry my pictures were such a mess in other post. I'm just going to focus on one wall at a time. I'm thinking of bringing the drapery rod to the top of the wall and using silver silk drapes. I will have to have them custom made because I believe it's around 150". The room is small and the ceilings are extremely high. I am thinking it will draw the eye up rather than focusing on how small the room is. I'm planning on painting gray/silver - should I paint this wall darker like previous owner did? And if I do bring the curtain rod to top of wall, would you put a mirror above door?

The paint color used in all the rooms is SW #7533 Khaki Shade. The laundry room is SW #7532 Urban Putty one shade lighter than the khaki shade.

Your home has great potential with just some paint and furniture arranging. I do not think drapes to the ceiling would work, that would draw your eye up to the height of the room. I like what you have on the dining window but you could also use 2 simple roman shades on the dining window to add some texture and color. If you use a more neutral colored curtain panel on the sliding door with your current rod that would look nice. Try getting panels that blend with the paint color you choose.

I love your fireplace and armoire is it possible to use the armoire for the tv instead of the table its on?

If you put a large area rug down and pull the furniture away from the wall and arrange it around the fireplace that will ground the space.

Try putting the couch across from the fireplace and a chair on each side and the Ottoman as a coffee table with a tray and books on it. Add a nice neutral area rug. Put one of the chairs where the tv is and the other facing the sliding door.

I think the large wall hanging might look nice in the dining area.

I don't like the idea of a mirror over the door either. I am also not feeling silk drapes for a "nautical" decor. I'm thinking more like linen or twill with grommets. Sort of like Pottery Barn's Peyton Grommet Drapes. I also would not go all the way to the ceiling with the rod. You can certainly go higher than you have it now, though. Hard to tell, but maybe about a foot higher?

Is all the furniture staying the same? I ask because I'm not really getting a nautical vibe from the brown leather furniture and dark dining furniture, but I wonder if you might try light colored slipcovers for the dining chairs, and an area rug in the living room in some light-ish colors. As far as accessories, I'm thinking maybe lamps with blue glass bases, artwork in lighter/airy colors, some of those Japanese glass floats (check ebay) either gathered in a bowl or on the mantle. Maybe paint the mirror over the mantle white? Just some thoughts.

As far as paint colors, with all the brown furniture in your space, I'd be looking at a gray that leans toward blue or green rather than a true gray. Some to look at (all Ben Moore): Silver Gray, Gentle Gray, Pale Smoke, Gray Cashmere, Silver Marlin, Healing Aloe.

Okay - you guys have changed my mind on the drapes and I will look at PB drapes instead of silk. I had seen that at the yacht club but linen sounds wonderful too.

Pretty sure my husband won't agree we need to buy new furniture, I will just have to accessorize with pillows, etc. I love the idea of the roman shades to soften.

My westie is my baby. Not sure if you can tell by the photo but her hair looks like we had her groomed to be a poodle but actually she just got out of the hospital from Auto Immune Disease. We almost lost her and the money I spent on saving her, I could have all new furniture. LOL But I definitely would rather have her.

And I agree with the suggestion to try a more neutral curtain and wall color. It sounds like you're having lots of fun with your boat so keeping your home decor simplified will free up time for more of that. Good luck!
