Calling Dr. Meghan re: Jett

If you have time I need some advice again. I FINALLY got Jett tested for Atypical Cushings and sent to the U. of TN endo lab. Got the results today and he has 5 out of the 6 indicators. My vet didn't have a clue about atypical but he at least listened to me and followed up on how it needed to be done. He suggested I treat Jett with melatonin and flax seed. From the research I've done so far it seems that melatonin is only for the alopecia, which I'm not concerned with. Does it help with anything else? And what is the flax seed for? Do you suggest giving anything else? It appears lysodren has many side effects. Any help will be appreciated as always.

BTW did you get your house sold and have you started your practice?
