Refrigerator water dispenser clogged
Comments (1)Are you getting a leak at all? It's great you've narrowed it down that far. I would check and see if you there is something that can be removed at the dispenser end, something like a tap aerator? When you blew in the tube, did any air go through? I guess what you want to try now is to reverse flush it, from the dispenser to the connection at the bottom of the door. Another thought is, when you tried blowing in it, did you have the valve open at the top? In other words, in order for water to flow normally, you have to push a bar or button, right? You may just need to have someone do that for you whilst you're blowing into that tube. You might be able to use a can of 'dust-off' or an air compressor or tire pump (be careful not to use too much pressure) - some electrical tape can help to seal the connection while you do it. I'm sure you'll get it flowing, then remember to change the filter more often... ;)...See MoreReplaced Hot Water Dispenser now no water pressure in faucet
Comments (0)Hello, We are working on Insinkerator hot water dispenser number 3 in 3 years now, when I called to get it replaced (leaking from the cord underneath) they said that as a curtesy they would send a new one for us to install ourselves. We received a gray one to replace the leaking white box. We replaced it following the directions they sent and the insinkerator works great. However, we now have very little water pressure in our faucet at the same sink. We have tried shutting off the water to the hot water dispenser, or turning on or off the various water valves without improvement, taken off the faucet head and cleaning it etc without improvement. I called insinkerator who said if the hot water heater was working. they didn't care about the faucet (literally!) Can anyone help me figure out what is going on? It worked fine before this replacement. Is there some sort of pressure valve that is diverting all the water pressure to the insinkerator and away from the faucet? thanks...See MoreRefrigerator with internal water dispenser....
