It hasnt even come on here but I read online what happened. Maybe a blessing in disguise, at least for the persons partner, who would've been out for 6 weeks and had to be replaced anyway. This would've been hard as they would've had to build on a whole new relationship with someone new.

Why can't Kate even smile on the show? She looks miserable. I was so hoping she would be the one leaving tonight. I hope she leaves next week. I feel so sorry for her partner who has to put up with her b*&*%iness.

Kate is a diva. I just wonder why she thinks she's a star or a personality just because she had a litter of kids. I think she needs a refund on the $35,000 worth of cosmetic surgery she had. Shannen did not deserve to go, and Pam should not have been on the bottom. Kate must have fans.

Like Steph, I'd read online who was sent home before the show aired here on the west coast. I couldn't imagine Kate getting more votes than anyone else. I think Tiger Woods and Jesse James would have gotten more votes than Kate...

Now that I've seen the show -- now that I've seen that nothing was even hinted about Mark's injury until after it had been announced that Shannon was the first one to be sent home__ Well, I'm honestly and truly thinking that this was a "fix." In the past when a pro has been injured and another pro has had to fill in, it hasn't ever worked out well. It's so important to build a trust with the pro partner, and when they've had 5 weeks together already, it's not at all easy to learn to trust another partner, no matter who it is. And Mark being out for six weeks is almost the rest of the season; and when he comes back it would be even more disruptive to Shannon (provided, of course, that she'd still be in it at that time).

Yeah, Kate looked so P-O'd the entire time, until it was announced that Shannon was going home. Then Kate got all excited and happy. I don't think she was excited and happy to be staying on the show and dancing any more - I think she was excited to think that the fans liked her better than Shannon.

Kate, here's a dime - buy a clue. You were spared tonight because the producers decided you would be, not the fans.

Her dancing was pathetic. Even old Buzz danced better or at least as good. I think her actions are making her some serious critics of even those people who disliked Jon and supported her. Many people thought her Jon was more than right in getting out of that marriage but if this doesn't prove the witch she is, nothing will.

Like I said...Buzz is a class act. I was disappointed that Shannen went home and I felt bad about Mark's injury. But did you notice how proud Shannen was to be able to dance for her father? And her father looked so proud of her!!!!

Way to go Shannen!!!!

As for Kate....I couldn't believe she didn't get voted off!

I too hope she's the next to go. When they announced she was safe, I dropped my jaw to the floor. What??Q##$ The woman can't dance and plain refuses to listen to Tony. I really feel sorry for him that he got stuck with her. Although the stars may not always care for the remarks of the judges and the dancers, most of them have the good sense to be gracious about it. Not her.

It's interesting to read the comments on the ABC DWTS board about her. The overwhelming majority of posts can't believe she was saved and that she really doesn't deserve to continue.

It'll be interesting to see what next week brings.

Wow! I read the link Ruthieg posted about Kate (The Shrew) I so agree with the writer. As for last nights results, I knew it was too much to hope for that Pamela would really be sent home. I don't know which one disgusts me more, her or Kate. This totally plastic surgery-enhanced bimbo is obviously her own biggest fan. I was sorry to see Shannon sent home because her story about her Dad. Guess we can hope for the results next week. Dottie

They may say viewer votes count the most, but the producers have the upper hand. They have a show to make money with, and they know who the viewers like to watch. ( Hint: Cloris Leachman) I think a lot of viewers couldn't stand her, yet she continued to appear every week for quite a while.

I was so disappointed that Kate didn't go home last night. For a woman that says her kids are the most important thing in the world to her, she sure doesn't act like it. She is constantly on the go - book signings, TV shows, DWTS, trying to get her own show. The most important thing in the world to her is herself and being the center of attention on TV. What a shame - to be given so much and appreciate it so little. It will come back to her one day. She's creating so much bad Karma and believe me, it will come back around to her and at that time, Karma will be a real b**ch.

I did watch. Kate was so sure she was gone, all I could think was she was told ahead of time, or she is reading the blogs and knows many have turned against her. She was such a GRUMP through the entire show. When Shannon got the boot Kate was so elated, but we did not get to see her scene because they cut the lights on her. I was soooo glad the world didn't have to watch and Kate didn't get the line light! Her staying proves it is very much a popularity deal and the judges are just for show. Kate does have a following. Some poor schmucks actually believe her act. At this point the loudest thing everyone could do is stop watching the show. Walk away!!

To counter all Kate's "fans", I guess we all have to vote many times for our favorites. I never vote, just complain about the results.

Why was Pamela Anderson in the bottom? She's my favorite to watch. Do you think the women voters are too conservative to like her style?

I vote for the others to give Kate a lower rating. Organic Donna, Pamela Anderson is all about sex and plastic surgery. She is such a phony and not much of a dancer.

I am beginning to think its all about WHO people like rather then their dance abilities. You can tell by how long they keep some stars on. Like Cloris, Jerry Springer, Wayne Newton... and so on. You know they can't dance but people just want to see them. Buzz will stay on a few more weeks to keep everyone wondering.

I still don't get what happen to Sabrina, does anyone know?
