I used that combo in my last remodeled kitchen and it worked great. I don't think you can actually see them in the one pic that is still posted on the FKB, but you can check for the Ebirdy kitchen and see if you can see them. If not, let me know and I probably have reno pics still on my computer. It went fine. We did an ORB faucet, too, and a biscuit colored sink, not stainless.

morton, I also expect to see wear and patina over time with my ss sink. At the moment, I think I'm in "new car" mode - I want to preserve the shiny newness of everything for as long as possible! DH hasn't seen me clean so much in all the time we've been married :-) Having said that, I have a scratch on the cooktop and an indelible mark on our wood island top already - no biggie. We wanted to choose things that would appear to be appropriate for our old house and old houses have patina. Our old kitchen had a ss sink that was at least 20 yrs old and I certainly didn't baby it the way I'm doing with this one. Looked just fine. I guess it goes back to the linen pants analogy that's often used to determine whether someone would love soapstone or not: if the wrinkles bother you, it may not be for you. And we have soapstone too so I guess you know we don't mind a ding or two! Eliz

I plan on putting ORB faucets in my kitchen too. I didn't want too much SS. I plan on bringing in more ORB with door/drawer hardware and maybe lights. I have selected the Hansgrohe Swing C faucet. Their ORB is lighter than some. but I liked the clean lines of the faucet, and HG has a great reputation for operation and durability. We also need a small faucet for the OS water system. ORB of Mountain faucets (who make most of the H/C faucets) is a good match to the HG ORB.

I just put in stainless steel sink with bronze faucets. Houzz.com came up. I narrowed the search to Kitchens and lots of photos came up. Because the faucet is in the countertop and no directly on the sink, it doesn't look bad at all. Check it out and see how you like that look!
