I'm totally stuck on how to pull this room together for DD using the bedding that I already have. It's a hair darker than in the picture w/ a dark brown toile print. The bedskirt is a mini check.

At this point I feel like I can't make a decision on anything because I've made so many bad desicions on it that I've become paralyzed w/ indecision.
While I think that the bedding is beautiful (and it's only the bedding that I have - not the curtains and all of the accent pillows) I feel that it's rather 'subdued/ grownup' for a 1 1/2yr. old. She's very bright, exuberant, playful and outgoing and I just envisioned a crisp, clear bedroom for her. I'd already had the bedding though and it's paid for so I am bound and determined to use it come he11 or high water. The colors in the beddding are also a variation on almost all of the other colors in tne house so I lik ethe 'flow' that I have.
Can I 'crisp up' this look and make it happy?
Upstairs all of the rooms so far are painted some shade of a pale greyed down blue w/ either white or off white trim and I want her bedroom to 'fit in'.
She's still in her crib w/ no decisions to move her out anytime soon but there will be a twin bed added to her room which is what this bedding will go on.
So far I have:
The bedding
Maple twin bed (shown here in big brother's rm):
Oak side table w/ turned legs (no pic).
Bureau (now painted RH Silver Sage) w/ crystal knobs:
This rocker that I'd like to reupholster the seat on:
White crib (I have a simple white bedskirt on it w/ white pom pom trim):
Plain cream area rug.
I have no window treatments. I can only think of a linen like treatment but then I think that's not crisp enough for a happy little girl, although I'd do it in a heartbeat if you think that it's work!
I have no wall color although I've sampled like mad. Do I go white, brown, sage. Should it be light, medium or dark?
I have no wall art and I'd like to do a shadow box w/ her Christening Gown and another shadow box w/ a white onesie and her first booties. Do I do white frames, wood frames, black ones?
How would you pull this room together?
The ONLY thing that I know that I'd do is layer a solid white or cream quilt on the bed and turn down the comforter to break up the sea of 'Spa' color. Literally - that's the only thing I know.
(Clearly I should never work on 2 rooms simultaneously - Mine and hers!)
