Yes, but is not nearly as large as your garden. I have three raised beds for veggies and beds around the patios for my herbs.
So far I have tomatoes, sweet peppers, beans and eggplant.
I'll plant some patti-pan squash and more basil soon. I will add okra when it gets too hot for the lettuce and carrots I grew over the winter.

Yes definitely! Our garden is 40 x 40 & we will plant tomatoes, broccoli, brussel sprouts, beets & string beans & we have strawberries,blueberries & asparagus in the same space. I might have left something out!

I will have a garden but generally don't plant until the night time temperatures rise.

I just use the homemade self-watering gardens now. Serves me very well. I have a lot of flower beds, etc. but no actual garden any more. I use the old one for a holding pen for seedlings, etc., and for perennials I have divided to save for our garden club's annual plant sale.

hoping to but will probably be containers in the atrium, the ones I planted out in the yard did not do well last summer with our severe drought.

I'm SO excited about having a garden this summer. The country house is in an area where the soil is amazing for growing. The past few years, I've been putting so much time into fixing the other house for sale, that I haven't had time to garden there. This year, we should be fulltime 'farmers' by the end of May. That will give me time to do at least the summer things like tomatoes, cucumers, etc. And I'll try to get some fall crops in later in the summer.

Just tomatoes for us this year,and of course we also have fruit trees.

I thought about a garden when it was 70s the other day...then I wondered if I should even bother with our new puppy this year. He's already digging up the two raised beds. I may move them to the side yard and just grow watermelons.

I have a tiny garden, but so far I have garlic, peppers, 1 lettuce, some parsley--not much. Put a tomato in a big pot. I will add more later as it warms up.

Yes, I am itching to get my seeds in the ground. We have a very small backyard, but DH and I have built a series of connected and separate raised beds and plant some in containers. We have also devised a system of movable trellises on a frame over a couple of the beds to enable us to grow some things vertically to take up less space. Not only the usual (green beans, peas, cucumbers, etc.) but the not so usual (various types of melons) too.

We worked the soil last weekend and the only reason I'm not planting this weekend is because it's been raining all week. I start most things from seed, but usually end up buying a few plants as well. We'll have several types of squash, cucumbers, peppers, onions, beans, tomatoes (of course!), beets, lettuce, mizuna, broccoli, melons, strawberries, and a few herbs.

My daughter moved from an apartment to a house a couple of years ago and asked me to help her start vegetable gardening and she has had awesome harvests of certain things, so we plan our gardens so that we can share what seems to do best in our yards.

I am not allowed to have a visible garden. I've grown tomatoes, cantalope, peppers, cucumbers, herbs, brocolli, cabbage, potatoes, etc., in my flower beds. The ferny looking stuff in my flowerbed next to the road is atually asparagus. Last year one of my neighbors apparently complained about another neighbor visibly growing corn. I suspect that neighbor lives right behind me. I may grow some corn behind my house this year just for fun.

I have a tomato garden at my house in the corner of the lot. I have perennial gardens and container gardens for flowers and we have a plot at the community garden where we grow zucchini, parsley, beans, spinach, chives, peas..It opens April 1st.

oh yes, I'm really looking forward to gardening this year. I've always started from seed but this year I just don't think I'll have the time. My mom's husband has dimentia/alzheimers and now congestive heart failure. I think I will be doing good to get everything in with purchased plants. We have 8 raised beds with outdoor carpeting between the beds. Helps to keep all the weeds down and I don't have to deal with snakes. We are going to lay some additional carpet between the beds and our neighbors fence, I'll throw a couple bags of dirt out there and plant some pumpkins there. We also purchased cattle fence for trellising our cucumbers, eggplants, small watermelons and cantelopes. I'm going to try corn as well. We'll do marigolds and giant zinnias. Out front I have enormous planters and I'm actually going to plant my tomatoes in them. On the decks we have two galvanized troughs that I keep all my lettuces and herbs in, that way they are close at hand. Mom takes a break on Tuesday's when I'm off and she'll be able to maintain the herbs and lettuces for me on the deck. She's too frail to work in the beds so this is a good task for her. Just have to keep an eye on her when she's weeding, last year she weeded all the mesclun lettuce I planted.

I only have a city lot, but I stick stuff in wherever I have room. I started planting seeds (peppers) in January. I have onions, lettuce, carrots, beets, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and celery too. I've also got some flowers starting too- black eyed Susan vines, dahlias etc. today I'm going to start tomatoes and some more flowers. Oh, and I overwintered many geraniums.. they're really starting to look nice. I love this time of yer!

I have a garden every summer. It's in my back-yard, where our above-ground pool usded to be. Last year I grew tomatoes and potatoes; this year I have seeds for peas, lettuce, spinach, onions, radishes, plus some herbs and flowers. I'll be starting the seeds indoors.

Wow, what early starters you all are. Our last frost date is April 28....but yesterday at the farmers market I did by lettuce, onions and spinach, and the ever present raspberries are needing to be thinned. Plum trees are a-bloomin' and I haven't looked at the cherries yet. Frost covered our beds this morning, but the sun is shinning...for now.

I figure to get some stuff planted soon for transplanting.

Not sure of the size of the gardens - each about 65 yards by about 10, I think - but rows need to be about 48 inches apart to accomodate landlord's (large) tiller.

We live in the country, so there has to be a garden. Our veggie garden is 70X120. Not sure what we will plant this year. Lots & Lots of flower beds all around the house.

We have several community gardens where people plant and share. But--we also have a wonderful farmer's market at the Commons every Thursday with a great selection of fresh veggies/fruit at fair prices. Can't beat that!

Landlord cultivated both gardens this afternoon.

One's about 80 yards by about 10, the other larger. But, as I said, the rows have to be about 4' apart, so his big tiller can go down between them.

I expect to plant peas, carrots and broccoli tomorrow.

What else isn't too troubled by some cold? I expect that there'll be some, later.

We usually plant about a month from now, a couple of months for the tender plants.

Yes even at 73 and with Fibromyalgia, I would just die if I couldn't have a garden. Mine is so full of weeds because of all the rain. Seeds that have been around for years are sprouting. I went out today and pulled a bunch of onions that are going to seed. I also have some beautiful chard that I need to harvest.
