What do you need help with? Did you purchase this or just deciding? My opinion (not a pro) is that those tiles will fight each other, and aren’t great with the gold faucet either. What is the brown box? Is the gold & white tile that the faucet is sitting on a selection, or just happened to be in the picture? What look are you going for? Got inspiration pics?

I AM DEFINITELY UP TOO EARLY......!! One more: Think about this: What is the most important of UN shared activities between any two people ? Yes, the potty. What might be the advantage here? Ever try to put makeup on in a steamy bath? Do you need to brush teeth and groom together? Don't you live together and share quite a lot else? One wants to soak while the other is grooming? You're together. Nobody needs more than 36 or 48 inches of vanity to groom. You get a two foot linen closet, and a very comfortable shower. Get a nice deep alcove soaking tub. Honestly, it could be a great option : ) Personally? I might be all over it. Here they all are....and with that, I am out. A. Alone functions.....alone! B Tub time alone, 72 vanity C One sink, look of luxury, adequate storage D....... The we rarely ever use the shower... In short? The wheel has now been re invented.

"he suggested putting in a dry sauna in the basement where I have my gym" There is no such thing as a 'dry sauna'. This is one of many common misunderstandings of sauna in America. Sauna by definition has considerable steam, either from throwing water on the stones to create bursts of steam in a Finnish sauna or via a constant drip in a bio-sauna. If you do put in a sauna then learn a bit more about it, especially if you want to gain any workout/recovery benefits. Trumpkins Sauna Notes and the book 'Secrets of Finnish Sauna Design' are the two better references in English.

Bathroom Reno Help! Porcelain Slab Install
Q
Comments (3)
You will need to go through a fabricator (or tile-setter) for installing a porcelain slab. I recommend getting an estimate for installation cost before placing an order. The fabricator can help you determine if one slab will be enough. In California, there is only one specialty license for both tile-setting and fabrication. I don't know if this applies in other states as well. When porcelain slabs first became available, there was a lot of breakage, but now that they are available in 12mm (1/2-inch) thickness, not as much of a problem.

Just lovely -- the tile, wainscoting and the floor. The colors are just bright and beautiful. Were the wall panels already painted or did you paint them?

I have a major bathroom remodel coming up. Looking forward to it, but dreading it at the same time.

Very pretty! I was just going to say you have a big bathroom - not small like mine. I like the colours you used and the picture.
