Does anyone have the Pottery Barn Hayden rug?

If anyone has the Hayden rug by PB, do you mind telling me what the actual colors are? I have been looking on EBay and know from experience the colors are deceiving on a computer. I have a rug on my family room floor to prove it. PB no longer carries this rug, so they have no swatches.I really appreciate it. I have gray green walls with caramel colored leather furniture and am looking for a rug to tie in.

If you go to the auction linked below, or look at the three being sold by seller 'divine*deals', they have supplied their own photos, not the standard copy from Pottery Barn, so they ought to be more accurate in color.

I also just noticed that the ones being sold by 'moms*r*us' have photos within their auctions showing the actual colors, which (on my monitor) seem more beige than the darker almost taupe version that first shows in their auctions.

my3dogs-- It's ironic because the momsrus rug is the actual one I've been looking at. The coloring in the first photo looks like it would go in my room but the other photos not so much..I really struggle with selecting rugs and really could use some help. I know all the places to look, it's selecting one that gives me a fit.

I have the 6' round under my kitchen table and I really like it. It has held up fine to the chairs - the cats are a different story. They have decided one spot is perfect for scratching. Even so, I still like it. I found it as a PB outlet so if you have one near you I'd try it first. If the cat damage gets too bad, I'll probably replace it with another one.

I know - I have loved a few PB rugs online, and when I have gone to the local store to check them out - wow! What a difference! I saw that the other pics looked very different from the first one in her auctions, and just know they are of the real rug. If you wrote her that you are interested in one, maybe she'd take a photo of her smallest one in daylight, so you can really tell what you're buying.

My experience is that the catalog and their online photos are usually richer/deeper than the true colors.

You are so right my3dogs. I do have a question in to the woman selling the rug and hope to hear from her soon. Where do you find your rugs? I remember you use eBay too. Thanks.

I HAVE had incredible luck on eBay with Karastan rugs and one wool Couristan that is in my dining room. I have bought 5 Karastans of various sizes over the years on eBay and the one Couristan. Karastans are my favorite for their quality. If you ever see one in your colors at a good price, I highly recommend them.

Thanks my3dogs. I have had Karastan rugs and the quality is great! To be honest I am not wanting to put that much into a rug right now. What is so ironic is that today a friend of mine stopped by and she absolutely loves the rug that I have been wanting to replace. She thinks it looks great in the room! So maybe I need to rethink it. I just got a great Karastan rug at Homegoods for a super price. Just a lucky find. I have to say, the color is quite different on line than in my home. A lot will depend on the lighting in your home too.

I did not know that Homegoods carried Karastan. I don't live close to one and have only been in one a couple of times. It sounds like you lucked out!
