I think the flowers are supposed to be slightly larger on 'Andrea' and it may be a bit shorter to reduce the need for staking. My opinion is that 'Honorine Jobert' has survived as long as it has for a reason -- it is probably the best Japanese Anemone available and definitely the best white one. Armitage claims that 'Honorine Jobert' may be the same as 'Alba' but 'Andrea Atkinson' is a distinct cultivar as far as I know.

We got 13 inches in an hour Friday, after two weeks of all-day daily rain. Flash flooding in my neighborhood, which never, ever floods because we're up on a ridge (a South Floridian's version of a mountain.) Not believing the flash flood warnings applied to me, because of my beloved ridge, I went out to get milk (honestly, that's what I was going out for... wow, we don't even have kids.) Yeah, detoured around flooded streets repeatedly, finally got to the CVS parking lot, discovered it was totally flooded, skirted around the edges of it and went across the street to Publix. It was only after I left Publix that I realized I had ripped the undercarriage of my car off. It's never good when you have to pull a five-foot piece of your car out of the wheel well and stow it in the trunk. Life with a Celica. The yard, however, has loved this.

The MTI tub has a much better warranty than the Mirabelle. If you are planning on staying in the house forever, I would definitely go with the MTI! Quality last!
