Yes, extremes in temp can affect uptake as well. Also, some varieties tend to be more prone to BER.

Plummy, Here's a link to where I got the fogging system. It's the model 400 on the page. http://www.mistcooling.com/mistingpump.htm I ran a line from the pump across the front of the greenhouse with three lines split off from that going up the ribs towards the house. There are three nozzles on each line. I have the .012 nozzles and I believe I'm going to end up getting the .008 size to make even smaller droplets. Probably wait until next spring for that. If you have any more questions concerning the fogger, let me know. I've ordered lots of things from Puerto Rico, Montoso Gardens specifically, and the shipping was not bad at all. Actually I believe it no more than shipping from Florida for me. Hawaii is waaaayyy more expensive! They are expensive but the last two plants I received from Frankies were pretty nice. We'll see. We're in quite a cold snap here right now. 30* at night and 40's during day. 20* below normal for us right now. Really sucks.

Here's the fireplace wall. I put a mirror over it rather than the heron print that's was formerly there. (The heron print is now in my dining room with two smaller prints by the same artist.)

Dear comtesse, thank you so much for writing when it must be very difficult for you. I notice no cognitive dysfunction in your writing at all, but can imagine the effort this must have been for you. It is so gracious and caring of you to give us a thought because I have a feeling that for you everything is a struggle, and the slightest bit extra, such as your wonderful and long post, must require heroic effort. It is so very much appreciated. All any of us can do is be grateful for the good that we still experience each day and to be grateful for the loving support we receive from those who care about us. Lisa, that is one of my very favorite pictures of Sebastian and Millie. He seems to have accepted her completely now, and it's wonderful to see them together like this. I'm so happy that Millie is still a part of your life, and hope she will be a very frequent visitor.
