How to post pics?

Would someone please enlighten me on the procedure to post pics here?

I went to that link and followed all the instructions to post a photo to photobucket and get the HTML code.

I hope everyone will bear with me while I try a sample pic here.

Hopefully the photo will appear.

I began my interest in photography in the old school back in 1966 when SLR's with through the lens metering were still in their infancy and such features as Aperture Priority & Shutter Priority auto exposure were totally unheard of. I remember back in the early 70's of reading an article in a photo mag that predicted digital media in the distant future, but at the time 64 & 125ASA film was the standard and both Fuji & Ilford were experimenting with 400ASA color.

The attached photo was taken with a Pentax ME super 35mm film camera with an Asahi auto Bellows and a Pentax 55mm F1.2 normal lens using 200ASA kodak color film shot at 1/125sec @ F5,6 with a ring light flash unit.

This photo is an un-cropped full frame image from the film.

I've only done it once but it seemed pretty easy (luckily since I'm a computer phobe!). You'll need the photo to be posted on you computer in a directory somewhere first. Then all you have to do is hit the Browse button by the Image file to upload; it'll take you to the directories on your computer. Navigate to the directory or folder that has the pics in it and just double click on the one you want to share and you're done!

Thank you for your warm welcome. I made the "Dollar Tree apothecary jars" from a vase and a glass candle stick holder from DT and glued them together. The plate is from CVS Drug Store, it is plastic and it was $1.99. I get a lot of compliments on the plate and surprisingly my hub even likes it. I did not post this year's decorations are they are slight variation on last year's theme. The only thing different is I found a green kitchen scale at a TS and have a pumpkin on it. Will use scale in Christmas decor as well.

I don't think the Hopsack is so dark of a color that it wouldn't work well with the sculpture. Today at Dillards I saw a table scape that I thought was gorgeous and never would think of putting the colors together...the beige tone of your sofa with a soft gray...it didn't have the blueish gray tone mentioned above but was more of a true gray...I can see where yayagal is coming from with her suggestion.

someone on this forum gave me these instructions. You can easily make a photo account at www.photobucket.com You have to save/upload your pictures in that page before posting them here in the forums. after you have your photos saved & uploaded at photobucket.com , each picture has a "Tag" link. You copy this "Tag" Highlight this link, then right click 'copy' after that, you can paste the "Tag" here in this commnets on the forums or whenever you make a blog. hope this helps.
