you might try vinegar and water or if you have a Sams near you they sell Odoban it is super stuff in fact I always use a cap full in my carpet steamer.

RavenCajun..which Odoban do you use? Looks like I may have to order from eBay...and there are several different kinds.

I have only used the original version of the odoban, I buy it in a gallon jug which is a concentrate that you can mix with water, when I put it in my steam cleaner I add one capfull straight, and put it into my rinse water if you do not have the rinse separate then put it in with the detergent and water. That stuff will kill pretty much any bacteria and virus including the aids virus, many use is for that feature to help sanitize.

I promise you will not be sorry I have been using odoban for probably 15 yrs now, I put it in my laundry, my carpet steamer, I use the spray bottle to wipe down my kitchen and bathrooms, I love that it not only kills odors but the things that cause the odors and sanitizes. If any of us has a cold everything gets sprayed with it!
I told a friend of mine that owns a salon about it and she now uses it on everything including all her brushes and combs to clean them and they use it in their pedicure baths.

I never thought I'd be so excited about getting a jug of "cleaner"! LOL

if you ever have a fridge that has a bad odor in it use it in there, I use it straight on a paper towel and wipe down the surfaces and put a cup with some and some water in there for a few days.
My family in Louisiana had some problems due to power outages during the Hurricanes and I brought Odoban down there to them for the clean ups, especially since it kills mold and mold spores and mildew.
Even in shoes that stink put some on a paper towel and shove it into the shoe and leave it there. My husband had some tennis shoes that had the fabric web stuff on the sides and he left them outside well someones cat sprayed them, OMG he did not know and put them on and we got in the car to go somewhere we had to stop the car and bail out. Finally figured out it was his shoes! I soaked them in odoban and ran them in the washer with odoban then stuffed them with soaked paper towels. I really thought I was going to have to throw those shoes away but nope it fixed them. I swear I find new things to do with it all the time.

Too bad you can not find it locally, I have always got mine at Sams, the last jug I got had the spray bottle full that came along with it for the same regular price which was nice because I had used one of my old cleaner bottles to mix my odoban spray in and used a sharpie to label it LOL

well it is not just me if you go to any of the sites that sell it like home depot and amazon and read the reviews there are a lot of people that really like it. But I do like to share a good product!
