My favs are 1,2 and 3. I think 1 is nice with your curtains, but may be hard to match the gray in the rug with the gray paint color? Otherwise 2 & 3 are really nice options too! Number 2 would be my 2nd choice.

I like them all but for practical reasons due to a baby or tot would pick #4.

I like the second one best, but I can't tell if the scale of the pattern is too much like curtains.

I would also pick it as it has small circles like your window fabric. So, you would have rhymth.
BUT, because the size of the circles is soo similiar - and from what I've read having pattern is different sizes is good - I would pick # 2. I also like # 2 as it's lively and cheery. But, what the heck do I know...????

#2 is so happy looking without appearing too juvenile. I'd pick that for a toddler's room. I love #1 but think the scale of print is too similar to the curtain fabric. They are all nice, though.

this is going to be a great room. I vote for #1 first and then followed closely by #2.

Your nursery is going to look great! I am doing a room in my house in the same colors, gray and yellow. I love those rugs! Would you mind sharing where you found them all? Please? Pretty please? ;)

I like #2. If you do go with the first one I think you should wait to pick paint. Undertones can be tricky with gray and could end up clashing.

I like #1, then 2, then the last one. All great looking rugs.

I like 1, 4 and the last one. I've always liked yellow and gray together.

Thank you for the input! #2 is my favorite, but I can't find it in the right size. :( :( I need a 7x9-ish rug, and the only options are 5x8 or 8x11 (way too big for the space). Shoot!

mtnredux, I like that linked rug! I noticed in the comments it read a little blue, so it's probably not right for this space, but I bookmarked it for our bedroom.

The more I look at #1, I think it is too dark for the room. I previously had a cheapie dark gray IKEA rug in there and it felt too dark. I also agree with those who said the pattern is too similar.

Here's one last thought -- what about this B&W chevron rug? I know Chevron is trendy, but this rug is about half the price and with a toddler, I don't want to spend $800-1K for a rug that will likely get juice spilled all over it. I wasn't envisioning black and white, but the yellow and gray would just be accents, and I wouldn't have to worry about matching the gray with the paint. Also, there will be no competing patterns with the curtains.

Usually that is the case, but, IMHO, having the colors transposed mitigates that rule. It's done with rugs all the time. I just love #1.

those are some great choices! I say go for #1. It will look really nice with the grey walls.

Yellow is such a good choice! The curtains alone makes the whole room cheery and inviting. Perfect shade of yellow, too.

I'm not keen on the stripes, they make me dizzy and seem to interrupt the cheery flow you have going.

I like Rug #1, only if you have a girl. You didn't say, but if you havea boy, it's a bit feminine.

I'm a sucker for pastel braided rugs in nurseries and other bedrooms. I have one with a lot of yellow in our master.

Have you seen the decorated rooms at Pottery Barn Kids? It will give you an idea how braided rugs look even in a modern setting.

oakley, i love yellow too. The room was previously turquoise and lime green and while I like those colors, it was a little dark in there and not very cheery. I just checked out PB rugs. I love the rugs at PB teen, but braided rugs are a little traditional for the space, which is leaning towards eclectic/modern.

pricklypear, very nice C&B rug - that led me to the rug i ended up buying.

The rug should ship in 7-10 days. I'm excited as this room has been in disarray for months. My little one will have a fun, happy spot to play in soon. :) I'll post photos once the room is done.

#1 is fantastic with the room colors and fabrics. I love how it is organic but doesn't look "flowery." After that, the asymmetric one with the circles. I don't much care for the others.

#1 is my favorite. #2 next. Neither one are tight fussy pieces.
