Like my forum post says, I'm new to this trading stuff and to gardening in general so bear with me until I get the hang of it. I honestly don't have too many plants to trade but I do have other stuff. I've been informed in my post on the forum that I can always find something to trade. I'm going to dig through my garage this weekend and see what other goodies I can come up with. First up is a gallon of Liquid Fence Deer and Rabbit Repellent. I accidentally ordered a gallon of it instead of the Dog & Cat kind (trying to keep puppies out of flower beds). I have a fenced yard in a subdivision so deer and rabbits are not really a nuisance for me. I thought it still might work but unfortunately puppies just can't get enough of the putrid egg smell! :o) You can see the product at www.liquidfence.com. I can bring the entire gallon to someone (includes sprayer) to trade for lots of plants/ items OR I am willing to divide it up into smaller jars and bring it to anyone who wants some in exchange for a one or two plants.

AAAARRRGGGHHH!! Deer aren't very cute this year in my books! The sadistic thing is how methodical they are at eating the diiferent plant varieties. One day I'm looking at a beautiful late flush of bloom on my catmint plants...next day everyone of them is sheared off (Do they read your mind?) Another day the row of spinich was sheared off, next day the dill so on and so on. Its like they have their menus planned out for the week..tonite we have lovely fresh rose buds for dinner, but wait til Tuesday's Spinich special! If you go out at night the yard is full of eyeballs staring at you...kinda creepy. We have three big dogs that have become incredibly immune to the deer. The other night when we drove into the drive way a deer and a dog came to meet us and we had to laugh because it looked like they were running together to greet the truck. Something is terribly wrong with that picture! Doesn't deer season open soon? I got desperate and sheared all my perrenials that weren't shrubs just to keep the deer from damaging them. Seems to have worked. That egg solution sounds easy enough, will have to try it. Actually there has been a crazy amount of deer population increase this fall around here, you really have to watch out driving. Not sure if they ran out of water up higher or it just has been an easy year or what. You see alot of twins too. Any one else having an increase in deer? Toots

have some Hinder and another brand (have to check name). They retailed for $24.00 a bottle- would like to set up advanced trade of somewhat similar value for these. I will trade them in person rather than mailing. I will be at Paulines for the swap on the 10th. If anyone from Carmellia and Gaillardias swap in s. Hubby loves, loves hotdogs, and just recently he discovered that he likes sauerkraut! At least the way I make it, which is the sauerkraut cooked with the sausages, not steamed separately.
