I have 4 different types of Sunflowers I'd like to trade for items on my wish list. * Sunflower 'Del Sol Hybrid' * Sunflower 'Cappuccino Hybrid' * Sunflower 'Mammoth' * Organic Sunflower 'Mammoth' These are Burpees commercial seeds packaged in 2005. Please take a look at my trade list and let me know if you're interested in trading. I prefer to do multiple trades with each person if possible. Thanks

In the morning they will face east then they will turn to follow the sun throughout the day. During the night they will reorient themselves to face east in anticipation of the sunrise. I believe you but I don't know how they could do this. Has anyone witnessed it in a large sunflower plot. I have seen these pictures but never paid attention to their insight. I started some Giant Russian sunflowers in the beginning of Februay. Too soon. They outgrew the lights. I lost half a dozen and found out they don't like to go outside too early either. Direct sun but a cool wind. I will plant the survivors tomorrow. And bury the dead. Can I plant the stem deep? Or just to what they are in the cups now?

Hi, Sunflowers cross pollinate very easily. In fact to get pure seed without keeping the flowers bagged, you need a few miles of separation. So you will probably get a mix different looking flowers next year. I can't say for sure what you'll get from your seeds, but I've found red sunflowers have dark seed hulls. Remy

Fair question. We already have the Thermador 18 inch wine column and want to purchase the Subzero refrigerator. Cost wise, we'd prefer not to have to purchase the Subzero 18 inch wine column considering our existing Thermador column is still in great shape.
