Konrad,

Those are great pics. Is that some kind of circus dragonfly? Looks like a clown face. Those are great looking sour cherries. How do you keep the birds away?

Eric

Beautiful pics !

Wow! It does look like a circus fly...how funny

Both are great pictures!!

That little guy/girl is so cool!

Isn't that adorable? I just love that bug, think it's a dragonfly. The cherries are gorgeous! North Star dwarf?

Thank you all!

You guessed it, some kind of dragonfly, the sour cherries are Evans Cherry.

Eric
I usually check everyday for bird pickings, and if I spot something, I just spot net a branch or two.
Just picked them all, about 100lb for me, some for the birds, especially Mc Pies.

What a cute face...The cherries look yummy but if they're sour...I can feel my cheeks pucker up, lol...

That is a very good dragonfly picture. The cherries remind me when my kids were little and my niece come to stay a while with us. They went uptown and old Dr. Prout paid them to pick the cherries off his cherry tree. He paid them then give them the cherries so I could make them a cherry pie. They took the money he gave them and went to a little diner across the street and all four ordered mashed potatoes and gravy. The owner of the diner was so surprised he told me kids just don't do that. Mine do. I made the cherry pie and it was delicious. Cherries always remind me of that summer long ago.

Too cute. We planted 3 cherry trees this year and hopefully next season will see enough cherries for a pie.
