Just a hint about some of those insect PEST eggs. Most pest species will lay their eggs where the larva or nymph will be able to feed right away. In the case of cuke beetles, the eggs will be deposited on the plant itself. Anyway, I've attached a picture of lightning bug eggs. I don't know if this is what you have, but you can compare. klaa2, lightning can enter a home via any number of paths. i have seen lightning do very strange things before, actually pass thru a device and get another device hooked up to it with no harm to the first one. i have seen it literally blow receptacles out of the wall and across the room. anyway, it can come in on power lines, cable lines, phone lines, any metallic path to your house. once there, it seeks out the best ground. this is why it may pass thru an ungrounded device with no damage, but destroy completely a grounded device. we install communications systems and learned long ago that you ground everything, and make sure they all go to the SAME ground. in homes many times the telco, electric, and tv cable/satellite have different ground rods and this causes different potentials to ground. lightning loves this situation, it will zap you every time.

Remove the shutters they do not belong on those windows , IMO the door and the pediment do not belong on that house either . Interior lighting is best done with proper layers of lighting so some ceiling pots in spaces like the kitchen maybe some in the LR but in there best to add table lamps and floor lamps all of these should have LED bulbs in 4000K. Skylights are pretty useless at night so I would save that money for good interior lighting.I happen to like the green with the brick but not that white trim around it. This is one of my favorite brick exteriors and could work on your house but you need to simplify that entry and get a nice door with some glass. Then get to work on landscaping
