Half of the names you mentioned I never planted...I KNOW I didnt plant horseradish. Nor Bouncing Betty, burnet, or soapwort. Unless they have other names, that I may be more familiar with. What I do somewhat remember planting in that area were, Amarathus ( various) Larkspur, Celosia ( I think), Bachelors Buttons...A lot of Marigold seeds that I just threw in the air and let land where ever they wanted.) Something else that starts with a C that I cant remember at the moment. And I believe something with a G, that I cant remember either. ( Great help I am huh? lol) Also planted Hollyhocks. Im quite happy to hear the foxgloves returned, as well as the dianthus, and sweet william family. Red clover?? Is that a flower or a weed?? If a flower...never planted it....if it weed...I shall pull. Taz

Libby, I love your garden, as always. You say your Bachelor Buttons are taller than you. So....how tall are you? If you are only three feet tall, then they would be normal height. :) JK Your Foxgloves are just delicious looking. Here in Oklahoma, I cannot grow mine like you do because (1). If I were to grow mine in full sun, they scorch and wither, and (2) if I don't stake them, the wind blows them over and the stems get all deformed and twisted or just completely prostrate on the ground. I could never grow them like that in my garden; maybe in other areas of the state, but not here where I live. Wo is me. I always enjoy your pictures so very much. Please post more and more often. I loved your sweet Pea pics last year, as well as the others. Your path curving through your garden allows me to feel like I am actually there walking through it all. Lovely setting. Hello everyone! This is only my second posting at this board....I am so thrilled to have found a board specifically for hummies! All these years I've had hummies until the second week of Oct. and then they'd disappear. The hummies were quite content feeding from all my garden plants with flowers that were trumpet-shaped. I moved one of my container plants closer to the sunroom window last year and really enjoy and was fascinated by the hummie visitors. So this year, at the beginning of April I got myself a couple feeders. Of course, I did all the wrong things...yellow flower ports, dripping feeders, red nectar, etc. But I still got a good share of hummies to watch up close and personal. I figured as soon as I didn't see any more hummies for at least a week, I'd take down the feeders for good, as every other year that's about the time the hummies disappear. Not this year, thankfully! I have two hummies that decided not to follow the crowd and they both make sure they keep me entertained all day long. I am sooo loving this!

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile. I typed a long message and lost it because AOL kicks me off midstream so I gave up for awhile. Anyway, so glad you got your package and like it , Annie. The little gift inside is a belated birthday gift. I know I don't normally send one, but it was so close to your birthday. I have been so bad about not posting them as they come along. You will be getting a prize packet, too. All the prize packets are on their way and should arrive on Saturday. Everyone has recieved their swap package now, so the June swap is drawing to a close.
