Konrad, I don't live very close to any rice fields but some of my friends do, and some even farm rice. As dry as it has been here, the rice fields are about the only things that are green. The southern part of the county has thousands of acres planted in rice, corn, milo, soybeans, etc.

Gmom, yes, ghostly lights. If you like ghost stories, I have MANY MANY to tell. North of here on another isolated dirt road, is a railroad crossing where a school bus was hit by a train and some children lost their lives. If you park your car on the tracks, it will eventually start to roll off of the tracks...supposedly pushed by the ghost children who lost their lives in the tradgic accident, and they are trying to keep the accident from happening again.

I am presently trying to get a photo from a man who took a picture in a cemetery that shows a 'figure' standing next to a tombstone, and just after his camera strap was mysteriously cut.
