Really neat picture!

From that angle it almost looks like a big ol snowflake full of ice crystals.

Here's some more photos - Could it be Aster Frikartii Monch? I didn't think it got so big - last year the flowers were just 8 inches tall. Still no sign of flowers, does it normally flower so late? Lower leaf - 3 inches long

I am afraid that from that little bit it isn't possible to give you an id. You don't even tell us if it is a shrub, perennial, vine or annual. Can you show us a picture of the plant it came from? The coloration looks like a nutritional or disease issue to me rather than an intentional variegation. If absolutely forced to give an opinion I'd say it looks like a Solanaceaous plant such as Solanum crispum. But that is a wild, wild guess.

I understand the need to get in some plants, but since you have possibly found a treasure trove of plants, resist the urge to do too much digging or removing of stuff you find, until next year's growing season. You may be pleasantly surprised by what the previous owners have already prepared for you, the new home owner. Since perennial bulb flowers are also notorious for a short blooming seasons or even ratchety leaves as they die down each year, even the old plants mixed in with your new lilies could be a great combination! Don't throw all the bulbs away until you have identified them. They could be a wonderful plant that you end up liking.

Great close-ups, all.

Queen Ann's Lace has a wonderful fragrance that close. Such a simply beautiful flower with a DEEP taproot!

The dandelion almost looks like a Coreopsis that close.

Nicely focused ant in the heart of the Bindweed! I enjoy seeing the vine curling and crawling up other native plants, but not in my garden!
