Lord, that cost me a fortune. I had hired someone to help me with this project. I hope I remembe what we did as it took 3 hours of instructions. I thought that flower was a Show and Tell but it isn't. The lavender behind it is Worton's Blue Streak and the one in front is labeled Zanoba? The marking has blurred. If I can do this alone, maybe I can get some identified. The camera is a Sony Cybershot.

I lost them from neglect. I got sick and couldn't take care of them. My neighbor also cut his tree down durring that time and my plants toasted.....I was getting constant panic attacks. Even laughing would trigger one. Since then I've learned to deal and not panic :) I'm remarried and this hubby likes plants. When I can't tend to my plants he will. I have a great support system now ❤

Thanks so much, all of you. And Carol and Niecey, a belated Happy Canada Day to you both! I am having a lot of fun with this camera; I actually had nothing to do with how any of the photos turned out - I just pressed the button, sometimes holding it down, and sometimes not. I was lucky, they just turned out well! So, Iris gal, the crocus rose shot was an accident, but a very pretty one. Carla, my dear sister-in-law bought a new (very expensive) camera, and kindly gave me her old one, a Kodak DX 4330. I am thrilled with the photos it takes, and it seems very simple to use (which is VERY important for me). Since there is no instruction book, I have to check out some of the Kodak Tutorials to get the most out of it. Mark, I also LOVE Tamora's blooms, but I have to say, I'm am not crazy about the fragrance, so I just don't get too close LOL Jean, we'd love to see pictures of your Evelyn too - she sure is a beauty. Judith

I think these pictures are more appealing also. (I can feel the softness of the petals) I notice it's a Canon SX50 HS and if I recall your old one was Canon SX100 IS ?? Are they part of the same series? I am unhappy with the image stabilization Sony pocket one I have. It seems the photos have no "heart". Which I do see in your photos above. I wonder (with mine) if the image stabilization is to blame for a less than appealing image. Wish my old Olympus hadn't died :-(
