Raindrops on hostas are a lot better than raindrops on roses, IMHO. Here in southern Indiana we have nothing but 100 degree sweltering sun beating down on the hostas. I noticed today the wax is wearing off Blue Mammoth, and one leaf on Lakeside Looking Glass was completely fried where it stuck out past the other leaves into the direct sun. Even my clematis is suffering and the hydrangea is all droopy. I whipped out the hose and started watering, stopping to squirt myself occasionally. I'm sure I looked a sight, out in the sun with big sunglasses and saggy-wet house dress and lime green Crocs. No rain in the forecast, just floods. Hardly seems fair. Lainey
