Another crooked picture. Really, I take a few that are not crooked. Gulls were chasing this boat down. Guess it was stirring up some kind of bait fish. Out of Empire, La. in the Gulf. These are the blooms on a houseplant we have - from the spring. I have no idea what the plant is, but the blooms this year were beautiful. They are very very tiny and I had a new camera (Canon PS SX110 - not too advanced, but all new to me!) Close-ups of plants are about all I have mastered.

I'mmmmm baaaack! I didn't realize I was the first last week. I was just anxious to post a pic before I left. I just chose a theme a couple weeks ago so, hopefully, Bigack will get us started soon. As for backpacking; I'm going to have to find some people closer to my own age (53) to go with soon. All five of my kids (ages 27 to 15) went this year and they're going to run me into the ground soon. If I wasn't the one carrying the map I think they might have abandoned me out there. Ron

Love'm all! Ron, love your fawn....I had a couple of Whitetail's. RC...Lovely Turkey's...it does look dry....must be Texas,....Texas Longhorn? The Armadillo looks cool...kind of prehistoric. Carol, these Elephant seals look enormous...lot's of blubber, great shot! Alisande, great shots of many species!...Yea..I don't doubt on that bear. Crunchpa...great shot of that Raccoon! Cheekymonkey..great, have never seen one with this color. Solstice....Great Egret & snowy Egret, not sure if I'm right....great crock. Cherbo, love that moose!...we have them around here wild, always on the move and hard to get a shot at!
