I can't find the recipe

I found a recipe that interested me. Went out and bought all the ingredients, planning on making it tonight. Can't find the dog gone recipe! I got it off the internet, I think. Or, I cut it out of a magazine, I think.

Can anyone help me? Oh please help me.

Disgusted with herself,

Anyone have recipe for Frozen Orange Juice Jam?
Q
Comments (8)
I attended a canning class yesterday presented by the Grayson County Extension Office and this is a recipe that was handed out for (uncooked) Orange Jelly: 1 box powdered pectin 2 cups lukewarm water 6-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate 4 1/2 cups sugar 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice Mix the pectin slowly into the lukewarm water in a two-quart mixing bowl. Stir it constantly until the pectin is dissolved. Let it stand for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, but do not beat. Thaw the juice by placing the can in cold water. When the juice is thawed, pour it into a 1 quart bowl. Add the lemonjuice and 2 1/2 cups of the sugar. Mix thoroughly. All of the sugar will not dissolve. Add the rmaining 2 1/2 cups of sugar to the dissolved pectin. Stir until all the sugar is dissolved. Mix the juice mixture with the pectin mixture. Stir constantly until all sugar is dissolved. Pour the mixture into freezer containers or freezer jars, leaving 1/2 inch of headspace. Cover with appropriate lids. Let stand at room tempoerature until the mixture is set (up to 24 hours). Freeze or refrigerate.

scone recipe ?
Q

The Little Gourmand has been asking if we could have scones, so I decided this morning was they day. I had a package of cinnamon oatmeal scone mix stashed away in the pantry (it came in a gift basket) and I pulled that out rhinking he would be okay with it. Nope, he looked aghast at the mix, then at me and said "Mom, I said I wanted homemade scones!". I responded, "James, this is a mix, we add stuff then bake them here." "But Mom, those aren't REALLY homemade, it's not like you know what all the ingredients are...." I think I've created a monster LOL!. Anyway, I pulled up this recipe and he mentioned that he saw blueberries in the freezer and could we add those. He did all the measuring, mixing and only needed a bit of help forming it into the round. He then cut, painted with cream and sprinkled the sugar. I did take them out of the oven for him..... OMG! They really are the best scones in the world!

Hi Matti! Glad your family liked it, it's the only way I make it now. I've always added leftover cooked rice to my dressing, so I throw that in as well. Slow-Cooker Stuffing/Dressing 1 cup butter or margarine 2 cups chopped onion 2 cups chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 12 cups dry bread cubes 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning 1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 4 1/2 cups chicken broth, or as needed 2 eggs, beaten Melt butter or margarine in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onion, celery, and parsley in butter, stirring frequently. Spoon cooked vegetables over bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl. Season with poultry seasoning, sage, thyme, marjoram, and salt and pepper. Pour in enough broth to moisten, and mix in eggs. Spray slow-cooker with non-stick spray and transfer mixture to slow cooker. Cook on High for 45 minutes, then reduce heat to Low, and cook for 4 to 6 hours.

Nice try, but it didn't have cream or parmesan.
I do remember:
12 oz Fettuccine
1 lb chicken
1 bunch green onions
8 oz sliced mushrooms

It must have been on AllRecipes.com, I do remember reading the comments on it.
Drat!

I have had the same problem. Now I put the cookbook name and page by the new recipe ingredients for when I buy the stuff and come home ready to cook.

Every year I plan what cookies I'll make for the Christmas season. I'd write the grocery list and buy the ingredients and never wrote done which recipe I wanted. Now I copy the recipe and make notes on the grocery list. I've also been known to lose the list after leaving the store. LOL
