I can't find the recipe

I found a recipe that interested me. Went out and bought all the ingredients, planning on making it tonight. Can't find the dog gone recipe! I got it off the internet, I think. Or, I cut it out of a magazine, I think.

Can anyone help me? Oh please help me.

Welp, can we have a hint about what kind of dish it is you are wanting to make? What are the ingredients?

Well, that is the kind of day it's been. First time I typed the post it had ingredients in it. Then some how lost my post and had to retype.
Ingredients: chicken, green onions, mushrooms, fettuccine, butter. All I can remember.

when I make a sour cream topping for my cheesecakes, I use 2 cups sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar, & 2 tsp. vanilla extract. If you like your topping a little sweeter, you can add more sugar to taste. But this is plenty sweet to our taste.

This is one from my funeral lunch notes. Once after a funeral lunch where I served this, a week a stranger stopped me on the street and said..."Aren't you Linda C?" I replied that I was.....and she said she was talking to a fried who had been at so and so's funeral and said she had eaten a wonderful pineapple casserole and thought I was chair of the lunch committee and was wondering if I would share the recipe! LOL! I made 4 pineapple casseroles each containing a #10 can of drained pineapple, about 3/4 cup of juice 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2/3 cups flourÃ¯Â¿Â½.and about 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, topped with cornflake crumbs and about 2/3 cup melted butter. Baked for 40 minutes at 375. Serves about 20

Laura IA Fudge 3/4 cup butter 3 cups sugar 2/3 cup evaporated milk 1 12 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 7oz jar marshmallow cream 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) 1 tsp vanilla Lightly grease or spray 13 X 9 pan Microwave butter on high for 1 minute or until melted Add sugar and milk, stir well Microwave on high for 5 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes. Mix well, scraping bowl. Microwave on high for 5 1/2 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes Gradually stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Pour into pan, and cool at room temperature. Makes about 3 pounds.

Nice try, but it didn't have cream or parmesan.
I do remember:
12 oz Fettuccine
1 lb chicken
1 bunch green onions
8 oz sliced mushrooms

It must have been on AllRecipes.com, I do remember reading the comments on it.

Tried the recipe search at All Recipes.
Just remembered, there is cashews and a red pepper.

I have had the same problem. Now I put the cookbook name and page by the new recipe ingredients for when I buy the stuff and come home ready to cook.

Every year I plan what cookies I'll make for the Christmas season. I'd write the grocery list and buy the ingredients and never wrote done which recipe I wanted. Now I copy the recipe and make notes on the grocery list. I've also been known to lose the list after leaving the store. LOL
