OK.... I know that fresh pizza is definitely better. But.... if you had to buy a frozen pizza, what kind would you buy. What do you think is the best frozen pizza?

Freschetta...the only frozen pizza i will eat (if I have to).

I like Red Baron 4-Cheese. It's one of the cheapest but I like the sauce. I don't like thick crust either and most the other brands have too doughy of crusts for me.

Totally not a waste of a jalapeno. Personally I always add fresh ingredients and spices to a frozen pizza, makes it a lot more tolerable.

Our new counter depth Whirlpool SxS is just as small. Largest freezer shelf might barely be 12"W x 12"D...and that is at the top. Lower shelves are 9" deep. Our 19 year-old Amana counter depth had more generous freezer shelves, and enough shelves. I had to buy another freezer shelf to the tune of $117 for this new one. Because we would never have anything in the freezer that is 15" tall And we needed the shelf. Model WRS571CIHZ from Lowe's.

i'm pretty sure it's fennel or atleast it smells to me like fennel. my co-workers have had a stash of hundreds of frozen totino's pizza's they have been eating over the last 2 yrs lol. i can not eat them, too much fat and preservatives. how did they get the pizzas? well we have semi's come p/u at the nursery all the time and one time the driver was leaving a wal-mart in lakeland (i think) & they refused a pallet of totino's and he had to get rid of it before loading up his 54' trailer w/ our plants. well we just happened to have an empty huge double freezer the owner's store their hunting meat in and one of the owners' sons wanted the pizza's so....we got a pallet of free pizza's. ~ liz

What Austin and malabacat said. I love our Miele speed oven. We have the non-automatic programming one. I think, probably, the addition of the programs is more than a slight upgrade but counts perhaps for a qualitatively different machine. I didn't really know that when I bought the low-end -- it was more than we could afford as-is. But I love that we have it. The under-counter capability was the deal-maker for us and it works as promised. There's a little bit of hot-air venting underneath the top of the door, but it's not scalding, not dangerous for small passersby. You need a dedicated 220V line. The learning curve on the non-auto version is long but I've got a numch figured out now. dh thinks chicken cooked in it is better than either the grill or the gas stove. It is faster than other options, though not tons faster. I think it takes about 35 minutes for a 3+ bird or so, maybe 40 minutes since I always undercook it! But that's fast enough that by the time the table is set and stuff gets taken care of on arriving home, you can basically cook dinner from scratch without waiting unduly. It's fast-enough. Faster, basically, than me/life! It is a bit of a pain to clean -- that is, it's not *hard* to clean but I'm not sure it gets all that clean. There are little holes in the interior - probably that's a MW-necessity? And it's just sort of stained -- doesn't bother me, it's obviously not a health hazard and I don't hold tea parties in there. There's a bolt that holds the heating element on top in place that you can let down to get underneath it to clean -- that's good. One problem cleaning-wise is that it sits inside a 24" cabinet IIRC, and crumbs can drop between the door and into the cabinet but it's very difficult to reach those without removing the whole machine, which is *heavy*. So .... that's my biggest cleanliness complaint. If you do all of a meal's cooking in the one machine, you might want to use the MW after using the oven, which is problematic because the tray is hot. A silicon mat can help with that. With a little effort I was able to find cookie trays that exactly fit the interior - that's nice. Biggest and best advice I received was to build into your plans a very shallow drawer right underneath or to the side to receive the tray or rack you're not using. No one wants to schlep across the kitchen looking for those things and it's true, when they're all immediately there, it's an enormous help. I also built a second, slightly larger drawer for MW-safe glass containers underneath -- a big planning-plus, IMO. This machine is really impressive, IMO. Be careful of its glass tray -- they are very expensive to replace.

Actually, since I discovered frozen Pepperage Farms Panni I don't buy frozen Pizza. They are delicious.

My Mother use to by Tombstone. HEB gave had a demonstration of their "store brand" pizza, I liked the sample and bought a couple of them. Main Man liked them too!

Boy, I would sure like to find one also! It was so great when the kids were younger...we would have a freezer with pizzas in them...they would eat anything! I could have a slice or 2 and have my taste for 'cardboard pizza' filled for a while.

Now...I would like to find one that I could grab at the store and enjoy once in a while.

DH & I like the Freschetta brand or the store brand from Von's, which tastes just like a Pizza Hut pizza. I love thick crust, he likes the thin but they make both styles.

I love the California Pizza Kitchen brand and Wolfgang Pucks, I also like Amy's Organic. None of them taste like frozen pizza.

I like a brand called Tree Tavern. All natural, just cheese and sauce on the crust. I don't care for pepperoni,thank you.

I love pizza so much that I'll eat just about any kind, but I usually buy DiGiorno's (pepperoni or supreme).

I really miss not being able to have pizza delivered. :(

Well I like all kinds of frozen pizza but before I started regularly making it from scratch for Friday dinner, I would buy the store brand rising crust. It was the best deal for the money. It had more toppings than the name brands. Silly as it sounds, I took a
to compare them once. I think the pizza on the left was DiGiorno and the one on the right was store brand - both supreme (pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onion and olives).

It's not delivery, it's DiGiorno's. I like the spinach & mushrooms. DH doctors his side with sausage.

I like Red Baron Hamburger pizza, we got one of the pizza ovens like the ones Sam's uses for demenstrations and it really makes a difference in baking the pizza.

Funny thing about mentioning the Chef Boyardee pizza mix is that I just picked up a double pack to make for pizza and movie night tomorrow night.

I had a Pizza Uno from Wal-Mart the other day. I really like it. No one else did though, LOL! It was full of juicy tomatoes and gooey cheese....mmmm...

I make homemade pizza at least once a week. I make it so much I can't hardly stand to eat it. I make the crust from scratch too - it is really easy.

To me frozen pizza is a treat...what a goof I am!

The one I'll buy when I want more of a pizzeria type pizza is Freshetta. To me, Digiornio (sp?) is too much like a piece of texas toast with bad tomato sauce on it.

And, believe it or not, I still like.... Totino's! Pick 'em up for $1 each and they make a nice snack. Doctor them up and they're really good in my allegedly tasteless opinion!

I sure remember Chef Boy Ar Dee. I never liked their sauce, but they had a great seasoning packet! Really made it taste like pizza.

DH still makes those Chef Boy R Dee pizzas...but he and the boys like thin crust...he usually doc's them up...YUK...

I'll eat a Freschetta if I have too...i'm just burned out on pizza after raising two boys!

At Trader Joe's we buy frozen pizza made in woodburning ovens imported from Italy. Pizza Margherita is our favorite. Of course, if you're addicted to "American style" pizza, you may not like authentic Italian pizza.

We just had the Chef BRD pizza this past week while grandkids were staying with us. When they used to come here to visit we'd get the cheap Totinos that cost about 98 cents, they could all have their own favorite.

For us I buy Pizza Kitchen White for me (garlic and spinach with a little cheese) DH likes the Red Baron Supreme Pizza and DD #2 (has a fractured pelvis, back home for a while) likes Mexican Pizza (store brand or Red Baron)

We usually buy Red Baron's Supreme and add extra stuff to it. That with a salad, it's an easy dinner. And don't tell me that's not Tom Selleck on the box, it's him but they won't admit it, I asked. (From "High Road to China")

We like Tombstone and Stouffers. We bought California Pizza Kitchen about a yr. ago and thought it tasted kinda funny. I think it was the bbq chicken one..... we all got so sick within an hr. of eating it. Never bought it again. We do like going to eat at the restaurant, though. Wouldn't buy their frozen pizza again...

My DH makes his own pizza. He buys the dough for $2 from our local pizzeria, then adds his own toppings. It's the best!

I don't care all that much for pizza but if I buy a frozen one for DH it is Tombstone or Freschetta.

I used to love pizza way back when pizza parlors made their own. Now it's all pretty much the same. I can't stand "nouvelle" pizza like California Kitchen. YUCK

I only do delivery pizza, once in awhile if I am at CostCo I will buy a take and bake one for my son. When he was younger we loaded up on whatever was the cheapest at the grocery for his after school snacking.
