It does look quite a bit like azalea poukhanense, but... There are probably 1000's of azalea varieties at this point. Identification from a photograph is difficult at best. Identification with no close up of the flowers or leaves, no further information about the plant is even more difficult, so azalea poukanense should be thought of as more of a guess than a positive id.

Rhodyman. Augustinii is an excellent choice and I was going to recommend same, but as is the case sometimes, I grasp for that 'name' which I know, only to be thwarted. I picked up a beautiful specimen from Hank Schannen (R.I.P) which was called 'Berg's Hardy Form'. I have pics of it, and they look more purple than blue. Then again, the eye, which is more accurate, does say it's a decided blue when one views it in actual bloom. Here's a pic of Berg's Hardy Form

Luis- that gets a lot taller than I want . I can only handle 3ft or so tall. Love the azaleas though. This is why I hate asking for plant ideas, now I want that plant too and i am now thinking of a place I could put that ! haha Cearbhaill.. unfortunately I looked it up and that variety is only usda 3-7. I really like that color a LOT. That was good tease. I never really thought about orange

I'd trust your local nursery :-) They will know best what will grow best in your location. Of course the Encore website is going to tout the hardiness of its own plants but zone 6 will be marginal. 'Girard's Purple' is widely acknowledged as being extremely cold tolerant (z5) as are any of the azaleas with "Girard's" as part of the name....the developing nursery is located in Ohio, which can have some very cold winters. Encore azaleas originated in Louisiana, which does not have very cold winters!!
