Thanks! Considering that they were whole bulbs when planted in the spring of 07, how long will it take for the bulblets to achieve blooming size? And will the parent bulb be more likely to bloom better once the babies are separated? These were GREAT lilies and I will be happy to have lots more of these colors. (I wonder why some planted at the same time produce bulblets and some don't...)

I know what you mean, Calliope! It's not that I minded either the labor or the cost of the fabric - but the auction was for improvements to the church. That is not the time to try and get something for next to nothing, in my opinion. I am happy that my mother told me the woman who bought the quilt was ecstatic with the purchase. But if someone commissioned the exact same quilt today my price would be $.05/sq in, plus fabric. The quilt was 90"x70" so construction, quilting, and binding would have been $315, then add the cost of the fabric. Since I did a multi-colored binding, I would probably have added an additional charge for that. I don't resent the time I put into the quilt. I just resent people trying to use a fundraising event to get a dirt-cheap bargain.
