Else I would not know, but if you could place a picture of how they look like, that might help more expert people...

Josh, I really need to get a native spicebush! Wildflower, thank you. Is there a variegated avocado? I saw some baby avocados on the tree, just under pea-size right now. jyg, aren't Santa Rosa plums delicious? My tree also gives a lot, but last year, kids and their parents thought it was o.k. to sneak into my yard and take them! This year, I ordered a sensor water sprayer, LOL! Kristy, which large plant are you referring to as a vine or tree? My waterlily is planted in a terra cota pot with this small gravel-like stuff used to plant water plants (I'll look at the bag and tell you the exact name), then sunk into the pond (whiskey barrel). I know you can also plant in garden soil and then put some gravel on top to keep that stuff from floating out, then sink in the pond slowly. Jim, thank you so much for your compliment! It's great having this size lot to garden on. It's big enough to have plants I want, yet small enough where I can manage it. Now if only I could move the lot and my home to another area. I live by a school and those kids and their parents are messy to say the least!

Thanks everyone. J, The black tips on the Crimson Star #2 are a cultural thing. It's usually a consistent deep red from throat to petal tip. Both those old hybrids have quite a bit of swazicum in them. randy

Jan G;You have some beautiful daylilies and some other beauties, too.Love the trumpet lily.Its really pretty,and the roses, too.I had wanted that Wild Blue Yonder for a long time, but didn't get it,and since breaking my wrist while messing with roses, my girls just having a fit to not buy another rose bush and let them die.Well, they die here after about 5 years anyway,in spite of the excellant care they get.I do have several thats a good 30 years old.ROSES ARE WORK.Have to be spraying them all the time,for BS and pests,and here the deer eats them up, too,so just lately I have decided to not mess with Roses,other then my KnockOut roses,and a couple Belinda's Dream and Bonica, and 4th of July.The rest of them are slowly dying anyway,so,will eventually get rid of them and plant other things that takes less care.
