Lorna - I wasn't figuring on trying to use my GC for months - I don't know if she is even open this time of year! I'm more planning to head out there sometime in May, probably to fill in some of my empty spots once I start my new beds. (I may do a scouting mission before that, to get ideas, however.) And thanks, Patti! I was disappointed no one else seemed to appreciate it (or have someone appropriate to give it to), but I think dd will like it! I always give her daffodils for her birthday (from our garden at the old house) - I need to plant some at the new house so I can continue that. (Last year, I had to buy some yellow tulips - couldn't find daffodils at the last minute.) All that to say, she already associates birthdays with flowers, lol.

I'm kind of jealous about your pillow factory scraps! And what are your washcloth travel pouches like? I'm making: -a black fleece half-zip pullover for my DD (who wants one that's tunic length, so it has to be custom) -curtains for her ex-roommate to block out the sun. -boot covers out of leather-look vinyl. Theoretically I need to get these all done this week.

I have that fabric, and it isn't large enough for a shower curtain. It would have to be seamed to something else that coordinates. In my most recent classrooms, that piece of fabric was my only world map. (All the rest of them were in regular classrooms, but my MUSIC classroom is never thought of for teaching geography.) What a great site! I have a few pics of my own I could submit. Thanks, Casey!
