The pink zinnia sure brings out the pink of the lily. Very pretty together. I've got to start WS canna instead of digging and saving bulbs!

Like Seil said, beautiful, but your more recent ones are much more complex. I enjoy looking at your paintings, especially when nothing is blooming outdoors!

Anytime you have pollinators running about... I would avoid the sprays too.... too much collateral damage. So I've had a few dutchman's pipe vines on my pergola for 10 years... and haven't see the Pipe Vine Swallow Tails before until my wife caught a "butterfly that was flying around the vines all day" at work. So I collected a leaf with eggs on in to raise inside... and now we have 34 of these guys going to town. Very fun to watch. There survival rate outside must be minute... out of the 15 plus egg clusters outside... i find one batch of caterpillars left.
