@jupiterbaseball Unsure if you still need it but https://www.houzz.com/discussions/5396961/coretec-calypso-oak-noble-oak-or-pembroke-pine-photos#n=355 has a lot of good cyril discussion.

We just installed Provenza Road Trip on our first floor and now want to add it to our stairs…we only need about 60 sq ft for the stairs, as well as the matching stair noses…does anyone have this material or can steer me in the right direction for ordering..we are located in IL.

I corrected my comment. I had left out a word. Thanks for your explanation OJ. I understand what you are saying but yes the wording you used. My husband would never tell me I could not do something, that he wouldn't LET me, etc. Nor is either of us "in charge of" the money. But I do know what you are saying. I would not want to cause him worry. I also experienced some of the same things as you when I was working. I guess I knew how to handle myself, how to put a stop to it, because it never escalated. That's my last comment on this topic. jsk I could have written your first paragraph! I do enjoy some alone time too, but I think I am one who just doesn't require alot of it. Someone here mentioned a wife receiving an allowance down thread. I would not like that either, but a very close friend of mine, her husband did that. He handled all the money and each week she got an allowance. It was a generous allowance and I never knew of him to not go along with anything she wanted to purchase, but it's just the thought of it.

We had a car overheat once in the summer and I remember my Father turning the heater on - the theory is that it pulls heat away from the engine core. Of course it then turns the inside of the car into a convection oven so you have to open the windows. We used to drive from Pittsburgh to visit my Mother's family in New Mexico every other summer. 3 kids in the back seat of a sedan amusing themselves for 2 1/2 days - playing road games and singing. This was before AC, iPads and iPhones. All we had was the car radio - if you could even find a station. Mom packed our Scotch/Skotch cooler with sandwiches and soda. One summer we took our 3 kids on a 3 week trip from Philly to Nova Scotia - with various stops along the way Syracuse - Toronto - Quebec - Bar Harbor and on the return Mystic and Groton. This was before iPads and iPhones but thankfully we had AC. We had a station wagon and bought a small TV from Radio Shack that fit between the 2 front seats. We had a video tape player in the way-back and ran wires to the TV and then to the cigarette lighter. It worked really well - except for the occasional bickering over what tape to watch. I'm sure I can still repeat most of the dialogue from Month Python and the Holy Grail. Plus a 5 tape set from the 1960's of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle including Mr. Peabody and Sherman, Fractured Fairy Tales, Dudley Do-Right. Now I watch my own kids travel with their little ones - everyone has their own thermos and drink holder, snacks, individual tablets with headphones, tote bags full of activities, pillows, toys - and they're only traveling 3 or 4 hours. I hope this excursion is as memorable as our were. Have fun with your son and take photos.
